Zombie Ritual is the only "zombie death" band I remember liking at all.
|
i'm checking them out right now, which is how i could say "we're a lot less "black" metal than they are" :)
i am not crazy about this, i dont like the vocals or the keys :(
They aren't bad IMO. A friend of my wife is in that band. I like how they say all over the page "True Zombie Metal". It's all kindsa cheesy. |
we're pretty straight forward death metal, about zombies. some horror-inspired riffs, i guess, but def no synths
They aren't bad IMO. A friend of my wife is in that band. I like how they say all over the page "True Zombie Metal". It is a fun idea to center your band around one theme, like Alestorm!! Pirate metal!! Yarrr!!
|
Hah, Alestorm are so awful.
|
didnt Running Wild do that first though?
yeah, it's fun when it's a "joke" band or side project, like Zombie Apocalypse for example (though i think theyre better than the actual Hulud) |
Recently Vacated Graves has the worst synths, ever. Sounded like an old as **** Nintendo game.
|
Hah, Alestorm are so awful.
Yeah I think its just two dudes when they have time off from their real band.
|
Eww.
repcaks post inspired me "Some of my friends are Alestorm fans" => "All of my best friends are metalheads" |
yes?
|
the wording in the sentence
"Some of my friends are Alestorm fans" is quite similar to the wording in the sentence "All of my best friends are metalheads" thus i posted a link of the video of the song with that title free association |
ah ok... I haven't clicked on the link.
|
don't, it's a pretty crap song
nostalgia++ for me, but it is pretty crappy |

Am currently thoroughly enjoying Intestine Baalism "The Energumenus" Demo (1994). Anyone else have this slice of depraved sickness? Highly recommended.

The demo is awesome. Their albums are much better though, especially Banquet in the Darkness. |
Banquet in the Darkness is awesome

thats an interesting demo/band... probably would prefer the demo to their albums still wouldn't rate it that highly though |
the demo and the albums aren't vastly different, why would you prefer the demo over the albums?
|
Their albums are much better though, especially Banquet in the Darkness.
Maybe but I got the demo first (eleventymillionth generation tape) so I like it best. So there! :p Haven't actually listened to it for years but I've dug out one of my many boxes of tapes and had a listen to some old faves. Up next is Unanimated. |
ah ok, fair enough then
|
because the demo is better....
look at suffocation and all their clones. not vastly different but clearly one is better than the other |
