Same, then I hit senior years of high school, and I did really bad. :(

It didn't end up mattering much anyway :D
Yea, I'm in my senior year right now. The fact that I don't care about school anymore probably isn't helping me in calc...

DMV: Geometry is easy, trust me.

Jom 02-13-2006 09:57 PM

What are you studying in calc right now?
What are you studying in calc right now?
We just had a test that summed up all the techniques for integration we've learned so far.

Honestly, I really don't remember the last new material we did (I don't necessarily mean we've been reviewing for a long time, I mean it's been sort of a while but I also I just didn't know what we were doing last time we did new things).

nobodyblossomsforever 02-13-2006 09:59 PM

Yes, Geometry is just a gimme grade more than anything. Noone that I know of fails it.

NP: Pantera - Regular People

Jom 02-13-2006 10:00 PM

Ah, integration. I kind of miss doing incessant math problems all the time instead of my readings and papers and discertations sometimes*

*when I'm writing said papers/discertations or reading said boring material :upset:

Oh, and by the way, Murphy's Law is thoroughly owning my life right now. Anything that could possibly go wrong with me this week has pretty much happened or will happen soon.

i took pre-calc junior year and almost failed so i just took half a year of stats. i hate math.

nobodyblossomsforever 02-13-2006 10:04 PM

Heh, I found this thing on the net once with a list of Murphy's Laws and one of the laws stated "Attempting to print out Murphy's Laws will jam the printer".

And guess what happened. :p
DMV: Geometry is easy, trust me.
My junior year I took pre-calc, but I was too heavy into doing drugs to pass. I shaped up in my senior year and did fine.

I have just started studying to hopefully become a Sound Engineer.

Stoic 02-14-2006 05:38 AM

This is awesome and so...you :D

Apocalyptic Raids 02-14-2006 06:00 AM

I'm confused about your post there Stoicy. It doesn't make any sense :p

Stoic 02-14-2006 06:02 AM

I mean that sound engineering is closely related to something you love and it's important to you: music :)

blueyxd 02-14-2006 06:06 AM

It smells like orange and bubble gum
It tastes like orange and bubble gum
It's Irn Bru!

**** Ayreon lyrics are cheesy, but the music is good.

Jev 02-14-2006 08:16 AM

Hmm yeah. I get freaked out by my reflection sometimes.

And now I have to learn the Afterlife (by Dream Theater) solo by next Friday. Is that possible?

kurrpt 02-14-2006 08:22 AM

what album is that from?

ill have a listen.

If you use a metronome, and practice it correctly, I dont see why not. I was doing 3 string sweeps last night. I was working out of Rusty Cooleys Shred guitar Manifesto, and i got up to 150 bpm triplets

Jev 02-14-2006 08:27 AM

It's off When Dream and Day Unite.

kurrpt 02-14-2006 08:35 AM

o shi, ill have a listen quick

/listens

edit: wheres the solo you are talking about?

Jev 02-14-2006 08:40 AM

It's the keyboard/guitar solo. After the breakdown part. There's a pretty easy guitar solo before it.

kurrpt 02-14-2006 08:41 AM

id say if you can nail that one fast riff thing that he repeats for like 12 bars, you should be FINE
