yah, some people go way too overboard with tatoos and do their whole bodies IMO it's just stupid who wants to be 80 with dragons going up their arms  I might get one when i'm older maybe just a maple leaft with two lacrosse sticks crossed going through it. And the thing about tap dancing I tap with my feet all day at school and home whenever i hear music i cant resisit I also do it with no music. My parents yell at me during dinner when I tap my feet.

i've gone through probably 80 phases of wanting certain tattoos in certain places. always end up changing my mind a few days later. i still have a few ideas lingering around, i've decided i'm going to have to want it for a year before i actually get one, to avoid immediate regret. future regret is something i can live with.

rockindrummer 12-05-2005 11:19 PM

^ haha ya immediate regret would suck a lot but if you started to regret it 10 years after I would be like that sucks but whatever it was worth it in the end.

BetweenTheEchoes 12-05-2005 11:50 PM

I might be getting some tattoos after I've had a long time to think about what I really want on my skin. I'm more of a piercing guy myself though, love em.

Win A Rabbit 12-05-2005 11:55 PM

has anyone ever made their own shirts? i was thinking about making some shirts for myself, but i'm a bit worried the cost will be fairly high to make a single shirt. i'm probably just looking at a single color shirt with a single color print. 2 color print at most.

and, would i be able to bring the design in on a piece of paper?

if anyone knows about this, help would be greatly appreciated.

The Guild shop at my university prints shirts for AU$20, but you have to supply the shirt. The text doesn't fade or come off like the cheap iron-on ones you can get.
I'm guessing there'd be places on the net that might do it for you.

Seafroggys 12-06-2005 01:27 AM

god damn i don't see whats up with tatoos and piercings. a chic with tattoos and piercings (earring are fine) is just a big turn-off for me, yet they are getting rarer all the time....

Jezen 12-06-2005 02:21 AM

I'll eventually get a tatoo on my arm like those toys that say "made in taiwan", except mine will say "Made in Poland"

My mini stage is finally complete. Finished building it today. its 6ft3inchX8ft and 4 inches high. its really heavy too. had to move it in the house in 2 peices. the top has a very thin layer of carpet just to protect the shells from the wood of the stage. it fits my drums and 2 big amps. nice and sturdy.

Bone 12-06-2005 03:22 AM

Sweet! That's rad.

Wish I had that as a kid....

Drum Phil 12-06-2005 03:51 AM

Jesus Im in pain. 4 hours in total, The guy did an Amazing job. He took a picture and added it to the front page of his portfolio

The piece I got was something that looks like Royo art work (My old angel avatar was done by Royo) It is a gypsy sitting down, she has 6 arms, 2 holding her head in shame, 2 holding a sun, 2 praying. She is sitting indian style. she has bangals On a few places on her arm, and a few around her hips. Her hair was done to look like machines, or skinny mechanical arms (Another royo reference) And the machine looking things on her head rise up in a cup form, as If they are holding something.

Kinda hard to picture and explain, But I really love this one.

No drumming for a little bit though :( I got it on the thin skinned part of the forearm. Hurts more today then it did when I got it.

Eh i totally disagree. A well placed percing or tat can make an attractive lady a blisteringly hot one. Its like the differnce between anal sex and normal sex.

Loyton 12-06-2005 10:36 AM

hey faith, later when im at home ill dig you up a picture of this tat i want. Yours sounds very nice, somthing along the lines i would choose.
hey faith, later when im at home ill dig you up a picture of this tat i want. It is a nautical star on my right shoulder with waves circling it around my arm and close to my neck. That one took a while heh.

Drum Phil 12-06-2005 10:57 AM

Do we get to see pics of these tats of yours then? :p

So tomorrow I might be going round a friends (who plays the decks) to have a hip-hop kind of jam. Im quite excited actually, nothing but solid grooving. Should be fun. Anyone jammed along to some decks before?

which ones better :naughty:

Futuro 12-06-2005 05:23 PM

This Emo band I was in had a DJ he just made wierd sounds though, I wouldnt call what he did musical.

Undisco Kidd 12-06-2005 05:31 PM

Chances are he was just friends with one of the members and had no talent.

Futuro 12-06-2005 05:43 PM
Chances are he was just friends with one of the members and had no talent.
Yeah thats what it was basically <Shrug> Only played with em afew times for fun, Didnt really like the music they were playing.

RushHourSoul 12-06-2005 05:44 PM

Yeah well, if its an emo band i don't think it would have that much use. Hip hop or acid jazz kinda stuff then yeah, you could be a lot more creative. I love the sound of 'scratching' or whatever its called. Must be so fun to play to.

Drum Phil 12-06-2005 06:19 PM
which ones better :naughty:
Having tried both (giving not taking) i'd say normal
