i just earlier watched the end of the world series of poker.
just tell him that the Stingray is overpriced and sucks.
Tell him to buy one for you, and me too. :amaze: |
If he didn't know the value of money, that'd be a good plan.

someone should answer me if they know...
what program can i use to extract audio from a video file? |
The worst part is he doesn't understand how difficult some things are. He says to me "Ted, can you teach me OHP? I saw it on some website for some dude. Victor Wooten or something like that?"
"...You need to be able to slap to do it the way he says." "So?" |
A tweezer
To Spaceman And for Fox, he sounds like a dumbass dont even bother. Let him gain experience from his mistakes. |
someone should answer me if they know...

If he wants to get a ridiculously overexpensive starter bass, let him. He'll learn.
|
Me 2.
|
That's how I got a copy of Bassguy's mario solo.
Don't tell anyone. :-X |
Wow, I would get really pissed offa t him by this point.
:amaze:
Yeah. He was like "How hard can it be? On bass you only play one note at a time." |
I have a friend like that, but he's really cool about because he likes music for music. He's got class at least, though naive. I started playing a bit of Moonlight Sonata, and he's like "Oooh, teach me how to play that!". I told we had to get his fretting technique on par first.
I know this kid who wants to start bass.
"What kinda bass should I get Ted?" "A Ibanez GSR200. Best beginner bass ever." "I don't want a beginner bass." *sends a bunch of links to him* "Ohh I think I'll buy a Musicman Stingray."
man, that same thing happened to me except it was with some chick i had the hots for :naughty:, and instead she was looking for an amp . she was like "i need an amp for my bass, do you know of any good amps?" "ummm . . . you can start with crate or fender combo amps . . ." "are they 'big'?" "if you're starting, you don't need a 'big' amp . . ." "well, i want a 'big' amp!" she could've been more descriptive . . . |

This friday for music, the teacher wants us to mess with guitars and keyboards.
Haha he makes me laugh now. We listened to this song and he's all like "There's three types of guitar in this song...*kid answers Lead and Rhythm* what else?" Me: "Solo?" (it was the School of Rock theme; during the solos, you can hear three tracks of guitar) Him: *Points at me* Me: "I mean, Bass" Me = :upset: |
Go Claudius style and pour poison in his ear.

Tryxx, if we do this comp, it'll be our debut. ;) |
What's happening? I keep my dreadlocks in a napkin ring Rap and sing Unlike the homogenous clones I'm into earth tones, birth stones, and erogenous zones. The more ticklish the more you have. Sitting on the curb of what used to be the burbs And before that was Canarcie I'm a disturbed and bitter herb Like saltwater and parsley. Mics crawl up, tights fall down. That's my mnemonic voice stalactite slash stalagmite. You may have this Maglite It survived the apocalypse And for the fragile force of an agile horse Here's a handful of very special chocolate chips
