coffee is still technically a drug, so is tobacco
yeah it is. i'm talking about things that give you euphoric intoxication. like things people go to support groups and rehab for. if "life is good and there's no need for drugs" then there should be no need for alcohol either because people use them both for the same reason however that statement was retarded to begin with because it implies people only do drugs when life is bad |
I have to question drug users and their supposed "raising of consciousness" they like to gloat about. it's very condescending sometimes, like they've seen a God you'll never understand when they are clearly a rambling idiot. oh wow look at all these sheeple in their suburban life they don't have the key to the universe like I do
in my experience it opens doors and obscures others. all balances out in the end
agreed haz |

I definitely get irritated with extremely egocentric people. |

im agreeing that people who brag about how mind-expanding it is are annoying
get off your high horse nearly all of the people i know who do psychedelic drugs are complete losers |
this show rules

It's not like me or Sam are advocating constant psychedelic use, like anything else enjoyable I think it's something people shouldn't discount because of minor risks and social perceptions of it is all. It's like going on a roller coaster or something, you might not enjoy it but it's something worth experiencing at least once in your life, and if you're super stressed out about it then you probably won't enjoy it in the first place so it's not worth doing until you feel ready.
im agreeing that people who brag about how mind-expanding it is are annoying
get off your high horse nearly all of the people i know who do psychedelic drugs are complete losers
i don't think doing acid makes me better than anyone else. i just said that i had a lot of good experiences on acid when i took it when i was seventeen. i think people who never try it are missing out but i don't think it's the key to the universe. i ahven't even tripped in like two years now. and define "complete loser." I"m sure you and your friends would probably consider me a loser because I'm not in a frat and play video games and read comics instead of going out drinking and partying. |
and define "complete loser." like not a popular kid in a frat who is going to be a white collar stiff?
lol stop trying to troll me |
that said, i'm not down on drug use whatever makes you happy
in the grand scheme of things alcohol is probably the most destructive. I suspect this is more due to it being legal and how widely available it is if people had the green light for say, heroin they'd probably be abusing that just as much too, whatever's available I just don't trust people enough that I would expect it to be used responsibly |

straw man argument |
im agreeing that people who brag about how mind-expanding it is are annoying

because thats how my train of thought worked when i was writing that comment
|
straw
man argument
idk i wasnt even trollin that time i assume most people in frats consider people like me losers because i spend a lot of time by myself doing nerdy stuff. The only person I hang out with on a regular basis is erica because all my close friends from college and highchool are in south carolina and i haven't met many people here (mostly because i've been anti social) |
you actually went to college
most of the people im talking about dropped out of high school and spend their parents money on drugs and think it makes them enlightened |
you actually went to college
most of the people im talking about dropped out of high school and spend their parents money on drugs and think it makes them enlightened
I hate people who think they're enlightened from drug use. One of the only real important things I had a revelation about on acid was that I wasnt as smart as I thought I was. I used to think I was a genius because I did so well in all the AP classes without even trying but when I was tripping I realized I was just being a pretentious asshole. I was a lot more humble after that. However, I think this would have happened eventually as I grew up but it just came as a sudden powerful flash of insight that really made me change the way I acted. But yeah it would have happened either way. I think a lot of the things that seem really insightful while on psychedelics aren't nearly as much so as you think at the time. |
illmitch is the forum normal guy lets all make fun of him!

In reality none of us are really that unique.
No one is as special as they like to think they are. Not even Alex. |

I was popular in highschool and at college of charleston and had a lot of friends and went out partying all the time. Then I moved to Texas because I was doing poorly in school because of too much partying and since I've been here I've become a recluse. Now I stay at home most of the time and hang out with whatever girl I'm currently seeing and my friend Aaron.
I miss my old friends and I see them when I visit SC but I decided not to go back this year because I don't to be around heroin because I'm trying really hard to be good. |

I'm glad you're able to achieve life satisfaction through such simple repetitive means, I remember I used to be able to be satisfied with a similar schedule but there's no way I can be that way anymore.
|
It's a lot harder to meet people in dallas because its such a big city. In fort mill everyone knew each other and if you didn't know someone they introduced themselves to you. I haven't really met anyone at school that I would want to chill with other than Aaron because I'm at community college getting my grades up. I also don't like to go to bars or parties since I don't drink or smoke.
I'm glad I have Erica to hang out with though she makes me really happy. We play videogames together, go to shows and watch movies and cuddle. I'd proably be depressed if I didn't have her but I'm just happy I met a pretty girl who actually has things in common with me. |
