Some of those EPs are incredible, especially the ones between Isn't Anything and Loveless.
The Tremolo ep is sweet. I think that was after Loveless though.

Air - 10,000 Hz Legend

Its not as bad as I originally made it out to be, it just doesn't compete with Moon Safari or Talkie Walkie.

Little Man being Erased 06-04-2006 10:13 PM

Talkie Walkie > 10,000 Hz Legend > Moon Safari

Ok Virgin Suicides sountrack, where does it fit it?

Little Man being Erased 06-04-2006 10:23 PM

I haven't got that one so it doesn't fit in.

Little Man being Erased 06-04-2006 10:39 PM

Speaking of Pavement, (late) I heard a song of theirs on the radio the other day (I think it might have been "Cut Your Hair", not sure) and it was friggin' awesome. I hadn't heard a Pavement song that I really connected with straight away (or even really liked) until this, so it's exciting.

So in short, I might be getting into Pavement.

Luxor 06-04-2006 11:05 PM

Cut Your Hair is ****ty

ATM 06-04-2006 11:28 PM

Unfair is better.

Little Man being Erased 06-04-2006 11:37 PM

"Unfair" is one of the other Pavement songs I've heard, it's pretty good I guess, but not as good as this other one. Like I said, I'm not sure what it was called.

JonM 06-05-2006 12:14 AM

I've been digging OutKast, because I am home.

Little Man being Erased 06-05-2006 01:03 AM

I heard Clap Your Hands Say Yeah and then Pavement on the radio when I was in an op shop and I was like ahh.
The op shop sucked though.

br3ad_man 06-05-2006 05:22 AM

Best Pavement song = "Elevate Me Later"

I've only got Slanted and Enchanted and Crooked Rain though so...
10,000 Hz Legend
I picked this up for $5 on Friday brand new. I heard it wasn't their best, but I figured I couldn't go wrong for $5. I will listen to it soon.

Didn't listen to much on my computer last week. I can feel my Last FM next week is going to be really mellow, all this soft music for revision will take it's toll.

No love for Brighten the Corners? I know it's no Crooked Rain, but it's still damn good.

I had no idea the new Murder By Death was out. For those of you who have heard it, whats it like?

I was pretty bored with it after just one listen.
I had no idea the new Murder By Death was out. For those of you who have heard it, whats it like?
I havn't heard it, but I've heard two tracks and found them really boring. It's a shame, after hearing the first album I was really impressed with these guys, but they appear to be getting worse and worse.
Forever Breathes the Golden Sunsets or something is good. I'm pretty sure that's not the exact title though.

edit: it's Forever Breathes the Lonely Word. That other thing is an Appleseed Cast song apparently.
thank you  it's pretty cool so far, doesn't seem that special but maybe it will grow on me more

Zappa 06-05-2006 02:11 PM

Exile in Guyville by Liz Phair is remarkable.

I've told you that before.

Interstate 06-05-2006 02:23 PM

Today:

Rocky Votolato - Makers - This is so much better on headphones.
Keane - Hopes & Fears - Haven't heard this in ages but it's still alright, even if the orchestration is a bit minimalist.
Brian Eno - Music For Airports - Perfect album for headphones.

Now listening to MxPx - Slowly Going The Way Of The Buffalo, haven't busted this out in a while, I still love it.
