Sharp right from the beginning...?

Are you uploading it with 46&2, or just the vocal track?
It's 46&2, and it's only the first verse.

Hello thread.
My car engine overheated today. That sucks a lot, because now I can't drive anywhere until new antifreeze gets put in, and that might not even be the problem. And I certainly don't have enough money for extended repairs. :-/

As to what happened earlier: AH, I am happy to log on to AIM whenever you have a chance. I've just done so, but you weren't online, and so if you by any chance get back on, post here to tell me, and we'll go and talk. God knows we have a bit of junk to clear out of the way, and better to do that then let it fester.
I was at work, foo' :p

/me signs on

Sucks about your car, though. Fortunately for me, I think I'm all repair'd out. One time my electrical coils fried or something, along with soft brake pads, and that was over $1,200 :-\

But that was about a year ago, and no problems since.

Knock on wood, of course.

Is it me, or has R&M been lacking today? Just wondering...:p
Anyway I am in a bit of a pickle...I have tickets for Tuesday's Red Sox game, but I only have two and I have no idea who to take: my gf (who is an A's fan but has never seen Fenway), my stepdad (the biggest Red Sox fan I know), or one of my good friends from HS (who are all diehards).
Haha, no pun intended, right? :)

Pickle, baseball, etc.

I would tell you to go with your stepdad. There will be other opportunities to go with your girlfriend and your good friend from high school to catch up and stuff. But that's just me, good luck with your decision either way.
I wonder if I have the balls to do a thread on the NuMetal/PostGrunge bands that don't suck too much?
I just signed on, so if you haven't already, post it :)

I'd like to see a thread like that, and bolster conversation, and there are plenty of people who know quite a bit about those types of bands. Not everyone likes those genres, so just be weary of the tr00 people saying that those genres are uninspiring or lame or "it all sounds the same" or other /me inserts Dargon-esque phrase here
Dont try to be too specific if you ordering your food cuz they wont care they will put loads of shite and a pile high.
Oh. I thought it was a deal where they just bring out food and you pass trays around :o

I'm such a wedding n00b.

wtf I didn't know he died!

/sympathizes

That show was funny as hell. I'd like to see more of his stuff. I'm a Comedy Central n00b. It was the first time I've sat down and watched my new sattelite. :) (Yeah, that's how bad mx was getting)

RCA 06-24-2005 08:40 PM

He's got a DVD out I think. Check into that. :thumb:

When I was at university I posted a list of comedians I had on DVD-R from Comedy Central Presents specials. He was one of them.

I remember uploading Dane Cook and Mitch Hedberg. I can rip them onto the computer, perhaps, but it'd take me awhile on this connection. I'd have to let it run all night.

The latest bid was $65. I can't believe someone would pay more than two bucks for that.

RCA 06-24-2005 08:46 PM

Jom, ever see Pablo Francisco on CCP? He's one of my favorites.

Silenius 06-24-2005 08:46 PM

Zort Zomg of the fifth grade is selling two waffles for 65$ on eBay.

(What a nice little story that comes with the description)

Dane Cook is also quite funny. One of my mormon buddies got me into him.

Wierd, I know

@ my dad.

He goes to me today "So Jake, do you have any sweet dates tonight?" (he asks me like every other day just to rub in the fact that I have no social life during the summer)

Me: Yeah. I got one for my fist and your face all lined out!
Him: Awesome. Where are we going?
Me: The House of Blues. *shakes fist*
Him: lozl

Dane Cook is hilarious.

Dr. Jake Destructo 06-24-2005 09:02 PM

I like the one about the black marker that smelled like ass.

"Oh here! You wanna smell the marker that smells like ass? "

Comedy is so much funnier on TV.

I love his bit about being catholic and going to church:

"There was peace. Yeah, peace. And you knew there was peace because the priest would be up there and say peace, five times rapid-fire. "And the peaceful disciples said, "The peace I have, the peace I give to you...as we eat Reese's Pieces with the Lord. And I have a piece of lint in my peaceful eye!"

"We had snack. Yep, we'd be in the middle of mass and the priest would drop everything and say, "Let's have some yum-yuuuum's! I've made snaaaaack!" And so you'd go up and get in line, and you'd eat your Crouton-O-Christ!

I never did get to see that movie. That'll give me a reason to go watch it now.

Crouton O Christ. Ownage.

NP: Shine on You Crazy Diamond- Pink Floyd

This goes under the same orgasmic classification as Arriving Somewhere But Not Here.

In the scene where they were holding the try-outs, Dane was The Waffler.

Madagascar or Mystery Men?

RCA 06-24-2005 09:24 PM

Madagascar has penguins in it, therefore its cool rating is through the roof.
