There's a non-do-it-yourself oatmeal?

(strawberries & cream oatmeal = the ****)

Well we were out of the packet oatmeal, so I had to get the big tub of oats and try to make it myself. From my post above you can see it didn't really go well.

snidget 08-09-2005 09:39 AM

Ah ok, I considered both DIY

Oatmeal never really goes well tho

Iai 08-09-2005 10:15 AM

I rang in sick to work today, and slept until 4.30 in the afternoon.

This is what happens when you only sleep for 2 hours, 2 days in a row. I need to go bag some sleeping pills.

A Goonie 08-09-2005 10:22 AM
I love "ironic" punk covers. Actually I don't, they suck.
Most of the time, yeah. Look at the "punk" cover of Mrs. Robinson.

In other news, I got my record player today!

Luxor 08-09-2005 12:04 PM

Wanker 08-09-2005 12:05 PM

^^Good work!^

Leaving tommorow to Freeport, Maine-- home of the largest L.L. Bean store on earth. I'll be crunked on a 750ml of Bicardi for the next two days while I shop for a Spyderco knife and an L.L. Bean bike racing jersey.

Has anyone ever been to the store? I guess it has its own pond in the middle of the store to test out fly-fishing gear

I've been searching garage sales for a while now, but haven't found one record player. But I will keep looking until I find one.

Mail Order.

Dog 08-09-2005 12:53 PM

Yeah, well, it's not everday you get the oppurtunity to steal a record player that's been mentioned in the books of Matthew and Luke.

Yeah, having connections with the local mafia organisation really helps when shopping for music equipment.

JonM 08-09-2005 02:14 PM

Yeah, the Guitar Center guys are too stoned to remember to pay their protection. It ends up biting em in the ass sometimes.

biografiend 08-09-2005 03:55 PM

Band camp began today. It was better than I expected, even though we had to march in 97 degree heat and my neck and back hurt.

leiferikson 08-09-2005 04:01 PM

Me and a couple of friends bought a vinyl record today and cut pieces out of it like a pizza and stuck them on top of another record. The end result was kinda interesting and sounded like something you'd hear in between songs on a post-rock band's side project. Is this a known practice? Apparently there is some dude on mtv in america who does something like it but I havent heard of anyone else doing it. I wouldnt be surprised if its relatively normal though.

To JonM, I showed my band all the info you gave me and we all agreed that its the way to go and that you now stand in line to recieve 2% of our career earnings.
