br3ad_man 12-01-2006 11:30 PM

I bought the reissue a while ago and I just realised I burned a copy without the extra tracks. Oh well.

Eliminator 12-01-2006 11:30 PM

i downloaded it like a good thief

Little Man being Erased 12-02-2006 12:21 AM

Michael Jackson - Thriller

So good, but "The Girl is Mine" is so bad.

Does anyone dig the Archie Bronson Outfit? I just heard "Cherry Lips" and it was great.

I've heard them before but I found nothing very ear-catching. RYM says their album this year is pretty good, so I might take a look at that one of these days.

Little Man being Erased 12-02-2006 03:23 AM

Yeah, that song I heard is off their new one. I'm in the process of acquiring the album at the moment.

pixiesfanyo 12-02-2006 03:46 AM

Good thing I'm here to inform MX about Kayo Dot and motW obnoxiously,

AlienEater 12-02-2006 04:17 AM

The Girl is Mine is so bad that it's good. Can you imagine Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson really fighting? hahah

AlienEater 12-02-2006 12:06 PM

Melvins - (A) Senile Animal
Melvins - Houdini Live
They're both really good. I think Houdini Live is kinda pointless though, especially as I don't like Houdini all that much.

Fucked Up - Hidden World
This is pretty good psychdelic punk

Doctor D. 12-02-2006 12:44 PM

Gwar - Violence Has Arrived, Carnival Of Chaos, Beyond Hell

Saw them on Wednesday and I can't stop listening to em'. For the enocre they unamsked....it was the first "naked" encore the whole tour. I'm pretty sure the south Florida ball destroying heat was next to unfuckingbareable in costume.

Oh, and I caught Oderus's (Vocalist) latex glove. Not the awesome costume glove. Just a regular latex glove.

NineBitFable 12-02-2006 02:17 PM

Swervedriver- Mezcal Head and Catherine Wheel
I dunno what you call them. . . Post-loveless shoegaze? whatever. Good stuff!

Me neither. It's OK but I never got the hype. I love some of their other stuff though.

I'm digging Jesu a lot. I'm going to look into this guys other bands.

Anxious 12-02-2006 03:01 PM

Jesu is secks

Bukowski 12-02-2006 03:15 PM

Silver is so much more melodic than their debut. But yeah, both rule.

asymm 12-02-2006 03:51 PM

Rune Grammofon - Runeology
Terrific compilation! The track sequencing and flow is excellent, I was impressed. It was only sent out with a copy of the magazine, The Wire, in 2001. Recently purchased a copy on eBay for $5 because I'm a ridiculous completist.

_Mote_ 12-02-2006 03:54 PM

Teletubbies - Nursery Rhymes and other fun songs!

w00t w00t

The Queers - Everything's OK EP

I know the guy who played bass on that pretty well, and I've met the singer Joe a few times. Great band. Defidently check them out if you haven't done so. Not alt indie at all, but like bubblegum pop-punk (good thing, not bad thing).

pixiesfanyo 12-02-2006 04:25 PM
Drive Like Jehu - Drive Like Jehu

it's good, not as good as Yank Crime though.
I like it so much more.

Kayo Dot - Choirs of the Eye

This is the best produced album ever.

Anxious 12-02-2006 04:27 PM

I like Yank Crime better than their s/t.

_Mote_ 12-02-2006 04:28 PM

Blondie - Heart of Glass

*taps foot*
