I think if I were to ever be addicted to weed it would be as a sleep aid, I sleep 100 times better if I've smoked beforehand.

Psychedelics are probably the most fitting drug for my personality I feel.

Sounds fun. I plan to take acid again many more times before I die but I'm going to wait until I have my own place because my dad is really nosey and grumpy so I don't even enjoy smoking weed here because the environment gives me anxiety.

My next acid trip I plan to listen to a bunch of Burzum and watch Akira. Akira is a great movie to watch on acid because the music is hypnotic, the animation is amazing and the plot is a total mindfuck.

My very first acid trip I spent beating Super Mario World with one of my best bros. That game is so colorful and happy it makes for a really fun set for a trip.

I hate people that talk about marijuana being a wonder drug but I truly believe my lsd use when I was 17-18 made me a better person. It removes a lot of your subconscious thought filters and lets you look at yourself and the world without preconceived notions or defense mechanisms. Alduous Huxley's The Doors of Perception explains it a lot better than I can if you're interested.

eh that's not really what i mean at all

it doesnt change your basic personality at all

it just allows you a chance to look at the world in a different way for a few hours that can be mind expanding. i personally think people are missing out who never see the other side because we have a lot of preconceived notions and defense mechanisms that drastically limit our perception.

when you trip it's like being a kid again and the world is new for a few hours


people who say they like the way they are now are missing the point in a big way but its one of those things that's really hard to explain if you haven't experienced it

yeah it makes me so happy and optimistic. It's nice to shed my cynicism for a while and see the world in a new way. Usually on acid I get such joy out of colorful cartoons like dragonball and playing videogames. I would go on long walks in the woods and train tracks with my best friends and an ounce and just walk around talking and laughing our asses off.

I think brent would be a lot less cynical and get more enjoyment out of life if he did. I'm a cynical person too and they helped me learn to stop being so jaded and have fun again. That's why I think I need to do them again they always remind me of the simple joys of life and how beautiful it can be. I really think acid is a life enriching experience that everyone who isnt' mentally disturbed should try.

I agree completely. There are a lot of things in this world that make me frustrated and people in general tend to irritate me but I think my generally optimistic behavior is in part to thank for my occasional weed and psychedelic use. I think people who dwell constantly on how much others annoy them and don't experience anything but that negative energy probably will be more likely to be depressed and have issues with achieving happiness throughout life.

Not a bad reason at all, personally I try not to let things like this get in the way of my overall life enjoyment, but I don't want to work for the government.

at the same time i'm extremely protective of my mind, and there are inherent risks to psychedelics. even if rare there are people who do shrooms once, get rewired a bit and are then schizophrenic, for example

at the same time i feel like my capacity to appreciate the experience/potential is very high

Totally, I'm not saying you need to do psychedelics to do so. Truth is I'm just kinda jaded on being drunk and find enjoyment in other things. I just believe in keeping an open mind about everything and my life enjoyment kind of runs on adventure and new experiences, probably one reason I love traveling and hiking/camping so much.

Neither acid or mushrooms stay in your system for more than 3 days. My friends that were on probation would take acid before court and get drug tested and pass. They don't show up on regular drug tests.

Also that thing about it BEING IN YOUR SPINE FOREVER is an urban legend. Its all out of your body completely in about 3 days. There would be zero repercussions regarding your future employment.
