Just came back from work, I really need to listen to Tears of a Dragon really loud, but it's 5:10am and everyone's already complaining about two things;

1) Loudness of Music
2) The Constant Maiden all the time, I mean I have a subwoofer now, the earth trembles by the hand of Steve and the mighty foot of Nicko everytime a song comes on.

Has anyone been listening to drumming on DOTR? I was listening the other day and noticed that Nicko's got a heck of a lot faster with his foot, he does the double pedal thing with a single pedal a lot and I mean a lot!

Die with your boots on is a 'kin ace song, it's my war tune, it seems to get me ready for trouble when I know it's coming. It gets the adrenaline going and prepares me for Jihad!

That said, he's a pro-drummer.

I was talking to my music teacher about it, and he said he'll probably spend at least an hour per day just practicing that. As long as he keeps his leg and ankle in good shape (and that won't start to go until he's into his 80's, provided he looks after it) he can probably play really fast with little effort.

When I watched him at Drummer Live, there was a camera on his right foot showing a close up on one of the screens, and he was doing amazing double, triple and quadruple hits on the bass drum and he barely moved his foot.

Chris (who's the drummer in my band - sitting next to me) was practically having an orgasm.

i noticed that on Ghost of the Navigator on RiR, Nicko's right foot's so fast it sounds like double-bass, i think it's on the bit just after the solo.

i've got it, i think Bruce's vocals are much better on that song than Ozzy's. Also i don't think it's a Maiden cover, doesn't sound like them.
