Nah, BWP completely blows Orchid out of the water.

IMO BWP is their second worst album. Like Ghost Reveries, it starts out very strongly, then gets boring on tracks 5-7, then finishes with a great song.

Maybe the structure of BWP sucks, but the good tracks blow anything from past albums. Well, maybe MAYH is better.

I wish that song was done better. Some parts are gay and some are just godly.

I got bored with BWP even though I think it's one of their best records still. Maybe because it ripped at a low quality.

BWP > Orchid

The Steven Wilson factor to BWP is really apparent and I think that's why it really sticks out.

Right now my favorite is Deliverance. Everything is so killer on that album. I could just eat it up.

Orchid slays BWP.

The Twilight is My Robe.

I like Under the Weeping Moon better.

I love all of Orchid. I can listen to that for days.

Yeah. It was pretty awesome, except for the seating in the pit area. The area where normally most of the people in attendence stood was taken up by a mere 100 chairs, so the other 900 people were crammed together along the outside. I was smashed by one of my friends, up against another of my friends, up against the back rail right in the middle of my back.

But it was an awesome show.

I love that interlude. It's entrancing.

Just sit back and close your eyes after coming back from work and listen to the interlude. It's sooo good. I think they do it live pretty well also.

How much did you pay for tickets? 100 dollars? I went to the show in October with Nevermore and that was pretty amazing.

It was the same price as the regular shows...like the one with Nevermore and Fireball Ministry.

At Opeth in October it was like 2 hours of Opeth. I creamed my pants every 3 minutes.
