Yeah thats what I thought too but the guy at the smoke shop showed us how it works and convince me into buying it lol. Really the only way to spill it would be to completely tip it the wrong way, and you would think that you would get water in your mouth but you totally dont at all, and it hits very very nicely. I would recommend it to any stoner :thumb:

Yeah my issue with it is I don't really like bubblers in general they get very dirty very quick and depending how it is the amount of water the smoke passes through probably doesn't do a lot anyways
