Jaundice 02-17-2010 04:43 PM

I'd imagine one being in the right place and one kind of awkwardly thrown a few inches away

Aaron 02-17-2010 04:43 PM

In the palms of her hands, like the thing from Pan's Labrynth.

Jaundice 02-17-2010 04:44 PM

I'm getting some Swans right now, from what I've read about them I'm pretty excited to give them a listen. Any recommendations for albums? Right now I'm downloading Soundtracks for the Blind, it sounded pretty epic.

Ventriloquist 02-17-2010 05:09 PM

Get White Light from the Mouth of Infinity.

Jaundice 02-17-2010 05:13 PM

I like Filth, it's a lot different than their later stuff tho. Agressive post-punk.

kicked 02-17-2010 05:15 PM

Word, it all sounds pretty sick. I'll prob post back once I give it a listen.

Meatplow 02-17-2010 09:49 PM

Yeah, Filth is great. Swans are one of those groups I need to listen to more.
Haz which drumkit do you use with Ableton?
I use EZdrummer, usually with a bitcrusher and compressor, try and create percussion sounds through software synths or just construct stuff out of samples.

I see, I'm such a noob at this right now. Using what came with the package and ****ing around with them. I really need a keyboard it's tedious to play with the laptops keyboard.

The world is a sinking ship
Sunk by the weight of six billion people
We were sentenced to this fate
By those tho preached that they all
are as good as you and I
That they all should decide our destination
Though none of them has found a meaningful
Direction for themselves

Now everthing we loved will die
Unless get another go at steering

So here we stand,
On the summit of the aft,
Hurling defiance at those who are our misortune

I just use a cheap $100 Ashton keyboard with ASIO4ALL which works fine, it doesn't like my current installation of Windows 7 for some reason though so I can't use it. I'm looking to invest in a microKORG as the next step up, it looks like a good option.

Meatplow 02-18-2010 01:38 AM

I fail to understand how a group of friends who drink puke and piss and drink enemas out of each others' asses on stage or throw bricks off of buildings at people can have some sort of moral prejudice against drug use.

Meatplow 02-18-2010 10:34 AM

Sounds like my kind of crowd really.
