Please don't start an argument. Please? It makes for awful late night lurking :(
You know what, I think I will.

How do rappers look any more ridiculous than guys in metal bands?
You wouldn't understand, because you're biased. But I think people wearing bandanas, 5 golden women necklaces, an eskimo coat and pants that would fall down if they made sudden movements look pretty damn ridiculous.

I'll admit that a lot of metal people look ridiculous, but not because they have long hair and because they headbang.

He didn't say they did; just that they both look ridiculous. The one doesn't exclude the other.

I concede.

Doesn't change the fact that long hair looks pretty embarrassing.

Fine, if you think so.

Long hair is the natural look, we all used to have long hair. Some girls have it too..

You mean most right?

Illmatic 04-14-2005 04:44 PM

I like it just fine on women.

And we also all used to be nomads who never communicated with each other. I don't see you advocating that.

I still think wearing five watches makes you look more ridiculos.

I saw it, but I thought it was Vince.

I should go look for some books, I know. I mean, I am at the library for christ's sake.

So, how do we know what happened before the big bang?

Basically, the universe is expanding rapidly. However, there are two schools of thought on how this universe will end.

Some believe that the intial force and energy provided by The Big Bang will peter out, and then the immense gravity of everything within the universe will pull the edges of the universe back in, reversing the current trend, and eventually resulting in a Big Ball, about the size of this similey :) which will then result in another Big Bang. And everything starts over.

The second school believes that the energy will also peter out, but will still retain enough forward momentum to allow the universe to continue expanding, though vary slowly. The stars will grow old, and die, and new ones will be less likely to form. And, in about 10^12 Billion Billion years (due to the gravitational anomalies), life will run out of matter to form, and the universe will DIE.

However, many people are divided to this. Firstly, if this Universe does end. Is that it? Is that the end of everything? Is this place only around for 10^12 Billion Billion years? Will nothing replace it?

You must understand, if it ends, there will be nothing left. Ever. Again. Nothing will happen from then, to eternity. Is that how life is meant to be?

Also, another thought is that, if our Big Bang is part of a cycle, that what is outside this ball of matter. What is our Universe currently expanding into? Were there other balls of energy, trillions upon trillions of light years away, that also exploded, perhaps at different times? Why did this ball of energy come to exist in the first place? Are the four forces of gravity strong enough to do this spontaneously?

Answer me this, and I will give you a cup of coffee.

Illmatic 04-14-2005 05:21 PM

Please Riv, I'm sick. Don't make me think.

Jom 04-14-2005 05:22 PM
Answer me this, and I will give you a cup of coffee.
It's because you touch yourself at night.

I'd like a caramel macciato with whipped topping, please. And a milkbone.

Riva 04-14-2005 05:23 PM
Please Riv, I'm sick. Don't make me think.
Thinking expands the mind, allows the blood flow to move faster, thereby removing congestion around the brain, and also gives you a euphoric feeling, much like that from chocolate or a heroin hit.

How about I scrape the remanents of this coffee spill next to me (left by someone else) into a cup, and send it to you?

superpeer 04-14-2005 05:23 PM

Coffee? No thanks, I think I'll have some tea.

Universe Tea.
