are u sure about that?? also has anyone seen that video where paolo falls over i lol'd

Rattlehead 04-19-2006 07:46 AM

yeah... he didn't even have a mic. Beaulieu did most of the screaming while Matt did the backing. Matt just did backing and clean. no paolo!

toolfreak 04-19-2006 06:48 PM

Best post in here, ever.

mr black 04-19-2006 08:18 PM

No, my mistake, Chuck Norris did.

SimonCore 04-20-2006 12:43 PM
Random post.

I saw them on their first UK date, EVER, I have photos.

I'm seeing them with Maiden in Birmingham NEC in December.

They said their new album is going to be using Matt's newly bought JP7 and it is way more technical and crazy time signatures.

Woo for trivium wopping the poly rhythms.
A link to the photo's?

Britton 04-20-2006 12:58 PM

So I'm looking for tour dates...and I'm not seeing anything in S.A...so I'll have to either drive to freakin corpus (about 4 hours away) or houston (4 plus another 2 to 3 depending on traffic)

So in all Likelyhood I'll have to wait till the new album comes out.

Sorry I haven't been in here very much...I got a gal and I spend all my time on the PC talking to her.

What's new in the world of Trivium? it sounds like there is some sorta rumer about someone getting kicked out? is that true?

Lesbian_Seagull 04-20-2006 01:04 PM

Aren't they making a new album soon?

Britton 04-20-2006 01:09 PM

Lesbian_Seagull 04-20-2006 01:10 PM
Did Travis Smith invent the double kick method...
Dude, Travis Smith far from invented the double kick. Elvis Presely's drummer was using double bass in 1969.
do u think paolo should keep doing back up vocals someone on trivium.org thinks he shouldnt just wondering everyone elses opinions i think he should
I have a strange licking of his vocals. I think they're pretty good. I only ever thought that Corey done the backing, but there ya go :smoke:

Can't wait for the new album too, should be good, wouldn't mind going to see them as i missed them on their last tour :(

ebay :p

Damn should have found this thread earlier lol.
As a drummer i look up to Trav a lot because of his bass work.
And i believe that jazz drummers were the first to use 2 bass drums

lol ebay what do u think ur funny or something mister lol

SimonCore 04-21-2006 07:34 AM

They wouldn't kick out Matt anyway. He'd still do guitar and they'd get another vocalist.

Rattlehead 04-21-2006 10:56 AM

what i originally said was that if anyone got kicked out, it would have to be paolo, as matt/corey are a great duo and highly skilled, and Travis is an amazing drummer, and too many people like them. there would be an outrage any of them were kicked out. Paolo, however, is nothing special.... not that he needs to be. mostly, it will be teenage girls who would protest to his sacking. they needn't kick him out and i'm not saying they're going to, it was just a little bump for a page 4 thread.

corey does like the screams for backups i think

Rattlehead 04-22-2006 04:08 AM

he does, when i saw them he did nearly all the screaming, meaning that Matt has finally come to terms with the fact that he can't scream.

SimonCore 04-22-2006 04:34 AM

Corey screamed all of 'Washing away me in the tides' and then Matt sung the chorus. But the rest of the songs he didn't sing, but it was more of thrash vocals.

toolfreak 04-22-2006 06:22 AM

lol i like matts screams i think it was actually because it was hurting his throat to much and stuff lol

j05h_ab3l5_pp1_h8_m3 04-22-2006 08:52 AM

yea i like his screams as welll but hes not 2 great at it

toolfreak 04-22-2006 10:21 PM

yeah i think he should just go see that melissa cross chick or whateva her name is and get her to teach him good habits and stuff

Crysiss 04-22-2006 10:25 PM

Maybe he didnt wanna be like a7x and be stuck singing clean all the time amirite?

mr black 04-23-2006 04:01 AM

You're about as good at noticing sarcasm as Matt Heafy is at singing :smash:
