Hahahaha crying at the movies. Thats bad man.

Ethan. 07-23-2005 01:24 PM

I can't believe he killed her. It made me so mad that it didn't show what happened after.

Futuro 07-23-2005 01:29 PM

it was on DVD, my friend bought it and we watched it at her house, and i just started crying when he chose to kill her :upset:

it was a good movie though, clint eastwood starred and directed it.

A lot different then what i was expecting, the only real dramatic part was at the end, but its such a change of pace from the rest of the movie......i just started whining, booger snobs were comin out of my nose, i went through a box of kleenex, tears just ran down my face......such a sad ending.

Win A Rabbit 07-23-2005 01:44 PM

i've never actually cried during a movie (apart from laugh-induced crying), but there's been parts where i was close. i guess im just too macho to cry. i'm no girly man.

Voodoo Rabbit 07-23-2005 01:48 PM

You don't have to be a "girly man" to cry!....Jeez!, it's actually kinda cute when a male person cries....

Jezen 07-23-2005 01:48 PM

^^^^
You keep telling yourself that. Whatever helps you sleep at night. :p

Futuro 07-23-2005 01:49 PM

I cried at the movies a few time.....once i was watching finding nemo. when all the baby fish died, it was so sad. :upset:

Jezen 07-23-2005 01:50 PM
booger snobs were comin out of my nose
What the crap?

Futuro 07-23-2005 01:53 PM
What the crap?
i dunno what they are called, when your crying so hard that you cant breathe through your nose and boogers just run down your face.

it was in front of a female to, which is probably the least manly thing i could have done at the time.

Voodoo Rabbit 07-23-2005 01:56 PM

Ohhhh!, I could....Actually, I don't think I will say that....:p

Haha, dude thats the best way to score chicks. If you show emotion like that, all the way up too crying(if you got balls)girls will be so into you. Honest, I've seen it for real

That's the point I was trying to make!....
Well done.... :thumb:....

Half Life 07-23-2005 02:06 PM
Well done....
^Thanks. I always used to look at guys like that who cried at the movies and just in public like that. Made me think straight away, "Loser!", but then again...who gets head at the end of the night.......?

......not me :upset:

Voodoo Rabbit 07-23-2005 02:08 PM

It should be a lesson to you then!....Learn to cry at sad things!....

*You've got to do it at the right times though....Othwise you just seem like a cry-baby, and that's not so nice.... and you could be perceived some kind of small Emo child....

Hasn't Wedding Crashers taught you anything?

gastery6 07-23-2005 02:29 PM

Crying is for babys

Win A Rabbit 07-23-2005 02:34 PM

most girls dont want a guy that cries. yes, media makes you think that, but it's actually not true. none of the girls i've ever been friends with have ever liked when a guy cried. they laugh at guys who cry, especially the ones who obviously do it in hopes to get laid.

Seafroggys 07-23-2005 02:35 PM

I cried during the series finale of Babylon 5........ :upset:

And thanks for telling me how million dollar baby ends. Now I don't want to see it!

Btw Clint is awesome. I've seen fistful of dollars and I loved that movie. He takes out everybody in the town, thats the best part. I heard that in for a few dollars more they cast the same people as the bad guys.

Voodoo Rabbit 07-23-2005 02:40 PM

Works for some, not others....
That is another point I was trying to make....If your a guy, and you cry TOO much, like say, you were walking down the street and a kitten got ran over, It may be a bit extreme crying at that, you could chase after the prick that ran the kitten over (but that's a whole different thing)....ANYWAY, What I tried to mean, was that It's Ok, and kind of cute, when a guy cries at something, but not ALL the time, like in Extreme situations, like a dearly beloved pet or family member has died or whatever you find close to your heart....
I've totally contradicted(?) myself, haven't I?....(I didn't mean too!)....

Half Life 07-23-2005 02:45 PM
like a dearly beloved pet
^My favorite cat ever, Grey Grey, just died. I was so destroyed :upset: I felt like crying but I didn't full out, just a few tears to show my respects for such an awesome pet.

Tim 07-23-2005 02:46 PM

ha its funny when people cry over movies. ITS JUST A MOVIE!!!

Win A Rabbit 07-23-2005 02:49 PM

well im not saying its a bad thing to cry, but my town is full of kids who would rather cry to a girl about their friend that moved away 2 years ago, or about arguing with their mom about cleaning their room INSTEAD of actually getting to know the girl.

and on the opposite side of the equation, there's guys i know that think that kicking every kid's *** that are half their size will get them laid, etc.

i just think it's all stupid. oh well.

Voodoo Rabbit 07-23-2005 02:54 PM

Emo Kids?, Mindless Thugs?....Everyone is turning out into these two 'categories' now-a-days....Well, nearly everyone, I expect....

I would cry if I saw that. I love cats, and I hate animal cruelty, unless its against evil things like wasps or flys or mosquitoes.

Drummer_13 07-23-2005 03:09 PM
^ You have no idea, haha. I don't mind it all that much though. Seeing that it's the name I'm always going to have, I've learned to deal with it. Say if I was named Pat MaGroin on the other hand, though...well then I could assume God hates me :p
Don't feel bad. I know people with last names like mooningham, humphfry, denlinger, sexton, ect. lol  My last name is Reece.

TheClash6412 07-23-2005 03:19 PM

i know a guy named phil McCracken

we are all hipocrits, we just need to admit it.
i know a guy named phil McCracken
a long time ago me and my friends were doing prank calls and we found a guy in the Yellow Pages named Dick Nutter. i wonder why his name isnt in the phone book anymore. haha.

 he never did say anything about insect cruelty though

Double Bass Jim 07-23-2005 03:57 PM

The closest I came to shedding a tear in a movie was T2.

Arnold lowering himself into the molten lava will get even the most macho of men to admit that.
