Hey I got a question, I dont know pedal effect names well at all. I use my old 30 effect guitar pedal, so Im looking to purchase a bass pedal or two, or maybe a multi-effect pedal. What does Delay do to the sound?

Delay basically does what its name says its kinda hard to describe in words but if you play a note it will ring out, and then seconds later it will ring out again. I hope that helps.

So is it like an echo, where it repeats several times and just gets quieter? or does it just repeat once at the same volume as the original note?

Well for the most part it just repeats once but many have the ability for continuos repetition.

And Quat, calm down, I dont have a camera or a the necessary recording components, plus I need time to explore the bass.

Bass? Yes, I decided to finally get a BDGT-7, I've been throwing the idea arounf for a coupel of months now and the combination of a raise, the fact they will be discontinued, and Quat's insistant pushing I decided to.

Not officially. Nothing officially exists on MX without photos!

Yeah its sitting in its stand right now. Before I go off I've had less than 12 hours to play it, i need to find good settings for it and get used to it, the specs on it a quite different than my other basses.

Oh, that time I did 40 hours. I wasn't even that tired at the end of it, I just needed to be on the ball the next day.
