I'm applying for a job at Waitrose tomorrow morning.
Butler, what did you have to do when getting a job at Morrisons? I'm guessing that both of the shops will have the same sort of policy.
I've just re-wrote my CV.
Went into the store, to the customer service desk, asked for an application, handed it in. Waited, got an interview, had that, and i was 100% certian i had the job, because i went and met my supervisor, and he gave me a tour of the department, which was odd, not happend to any of my mates, but yeah.

Bad Blood 06-07-2006 01:30 PM
No, but you do have to do a craft subject of some type, or at least you did on my course. I did design tech, so i could do graphics.
Oh right.

Dan reckons he's fu'cked up his life 'cause he thinks he did badly in the graphics exam.
Graphics was such an easy exam. Did you do the one about stamps, where you had to tear out half of a page in it?

Untitled 06-07-2006 01:32 PM

The graphics at GCSE is sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much different then A level.

Dead Star 06-07-2006 01:34 PM

Graphics was so easy.

Our graphics is different from yours

Yeah, I made a right fuss about that, made loads of noise haha.

I found it pretty good. I messed up my designs though, lol. Oh well.

cobert 06-07-2006 02:43 PM

Today was my last day of school. My chemistry teacher, me, and 4 of my friends all played Risk. I serioulsy need to buy Risk again, I dont know where my set went.

Dead Star 06-07-2006 02:43 PM

What is Risk?

cobert 06-07-2006 02:49 PM

WHY DOES NOBODY KOW WHAT RISK IS?

I always thought it was like,a classic board game everyone plays, but apparently im the only person that has ever actually played it.

Risk is a board game where you control armies and move them to different territories across the world. It sounds simple, and it is, but it requires a lot of strategy if you want to win.

I was the first in our exam to get that far I think, because I started ripping it, and everyone seemed to be looking at me confused. I expected one of the teachers to come up to me to ask what I was doing.
I can't believe I did a full exam on stamps though, it was stupid.

Untitled 06-07-2006 02:51 PM

I know some people that play it, it realy dosnt interest.

I have a computer game of it, I've never played it on the board game. I don't really like it though.

That's because you're paying it on a computer. When theres real people in the room, and you form sort of unofficial alliances and are all messing around with one another, its a lot of fun. I dont think any board game on a computer is fun, because of the lack of this.

Haha, same here. I skipped a few questions I didn't like the look of and when I got to that page I was like, "wha.." then got some funny looks from the teachers lol.

It's stupid though, stamps : /

Haha, I bet you're going to be expected to know all about stamps in later life

I've decided I really want to get into music when i'm older, maybe set a studio up or whatever, sounds really fun. :)

That's what I want to do.
I'm going to try to do as well as I possibly can in Music Tech at A-Level, and then hopefully go to Leeds Music College/University for my degree after that. A degree in Music Tech at one of the countries best places for music seems like a great way to get into the world of music.

If I get the job I want tomorrow, the first thing I'll buy with the money is a digital multitrack probably, and a few microphones maybe. I want to set up a little home studio if I can.

Sweet man, sounds awesome.

It's still debateable whether or not i'm doing music tech next year because if I can do it, it will be at another school in town, so I will swap from school to school. They said we couldn't do it, but I asked one of the people who arranges it and they said it was possible I could, they just had to see if it works alright with all the timetables.

I haven't thought about much after Alevel.

I'd love to set up a record company/label.

Cameron: I found music really good, it's quite fun, coursework consists of compositions and shizz.
It's quite difficult to get really good marks though if you're not at least grade 4 standard at your instrument i'd say.

Ben i will do your drawing :thumb:

Bad Blood 06-07-2006 03:19 PM

Haha, imagine how awesome it would be if something like that happened.

Untitled 06-07-2006 03:21 PM

Haha, it would be bloody wierd.

Haha, I know.

Bad Blood 06-07-2006 03:27 PM

Dead Star 06-07-2006 03:29 PM
