Heh, nowadays they just play the same music over and over again. In the last 6 months, they've added maybe 5 songs to the rotation on my local classic rock station.
Yea that's what they do. I hear Sympathy for the Devil even when I don't listen to the radio.

Broken Arrow 12-05-2004 03:00 PM

Well. I went SOTCD although I could of just as well picked My Generation. If it were the live versoin from Live at Leeds I would have picked it.:)

I went My Generation, I find something special about that song.

Thanks for the Rep, Livewired.

Rock what did you get banned for?

jpj 12-05-2004 03:24 PM
Rock what did you get banned for?
I don't think he knows yet.

I like Working Man's Dead a little more every time I listen to it.

BludgeonySteve 12-05-2004 03:26 PM

I have no **** clue what I got banned for. I haven't posted anything worthy of a ban. I'll just post on this account since I don't deserve a ban.

It would be fun to host a radio show. Kim Mitchell's show in Toronto is awesome ;)

Woodstock 12-05-2004 04:12 PM

Cool, I updated my avatar, and got:

Jimi Hendrix-Live at Woodstock
Miles Davis-Kind of Blue

Those are awesome.

FreebirdTPM 12-05-2004 07:43 PM

I hope everyone caught that magical Bob Dylan interview!

Jim Spoon 12-05-2004 07:44 PM

was it good

FreebirdTPM 12-05-2004 07:51 PM

Yeah, that guy is pretty amazing, he's on like a whole 'nother level..kinda funny what he said about his song-writing abilities too.

Woodstock 12-05-2004 07:53 PM
Those are awesome.
Thanks, I wish I would've gotten more. The only version of All Things Must Pass is a "special" $27 one, and the only Hot Rats album I can find I would have to buy 2 other albums with it.

lunch998 12-05-2004 07:55 PM

Did anybody watch the Simpsons tonight? They had a joke about the Bob Dylan interview where they showed him just mumbling a bunch of things.
Creedence!
...Clearwater revival?

Huh? Don't spam my thread.

Rats, I missed the Bob Dylan interview :upset:

gmoneyguy 12-05-2004 09:26 PM

I had to work.... I should have tivoed it.

jpj 12-06-2004 05:59 AM

I missed it too :( I had to go to my aunt's for my cousin's birthday, and I forgot :(

gmoneyguy 12-06-2004 06:58 AM

Hopefully there will be a re-run.

thickasabrick 12-06-2004 08:23 AM

who here watched the Dylan interview? i taped it. good stuff.

i made my friends watch it. they just didn't understand why people thought he was so good, and then i put his record on (Blood on the Tracks) and they still didn't get it. oh well. i thought it was great. too short though.

gmoneyguy 12-06-2004 09:25 AM

Bob Dylan is an aquired taste.

thickasabrick 12-06-2004 09:59 AM
Bob Dylan is an aquired taste.
that's true. i didn't really like him all that much until i heard blood on the tracks. his earlier stuff just sounded like noise to me until about a year ago. i think he's great now.

BlackDeathMetalJazz or really ANYTHING else please- 12-06-2004 11:44 AM

IMO his earlier stuff was his best. Today in school my ex gave me the LA Woman record. = ****en badass! :D

_HiGhVoLtAgE_ 12-06-2004 12:25 PM

pink floyd

BassStabbed 12-06-2004 01:40 PM

the only classic stuff i really like is black sabbath.

lunch998 12-06-2004 01:59 PM

Oh good, we're back to naming random band names. We haven't done this in awhile.
IMO his earlier stuff was his best. Today in school my ex gave me the LA Woman record. = ****en badass! :D
I agree about Bob, I think Highway 61 Revisited is my favorite album of his.

Woodstock 12-06-2004 02:58 PM

Highway 61 Revisited is a perfect album to me.

Broken Arrow 12-06-2004 03:00 PM

Well, its a major disapointment that hardly anyone caught Bob. I fortunatley did! And as well as thickasabrick I taped it.:)

I also watched the Simpsons and the part with Bob was funny.:)
