Yeh, I know of all 3, but I still like it when people are re-introducing me to bands like these.

I was huge into Thrash about 2 years ago, but then I lost most of my tastes, and now only listen to those 3 I mentioned. So I'm appreciating it when you guys are mentioning some important bands :)

Testament, Forbidden, Anthrax, Heathen, Annihilator.

I never liked Forbidden, Annihilator, or Heathen. Or Anthrax too much.

I enjoy Anthrax and Heathen every now and then but there are better bands. Annihilator aren't very good and Forbidden have about 3 good songs. Mind you, Forbidden's good songs absolutely slay.

After Testament, I like Heathen the most out of that list.

And I don't think Annihilator is near as bad as everybody says.

wow that's actually nice. I might have to check out their new album when it's released or what not. I have The Force and I've always thought it to be mediocre. And his vocals seem to have improved.

That wasn't too bad, even if it sounded exactly like modern Sodom.

It actually reminded me alot of Lords of Depravity, but yeah, overall [I]M-16[/I] is very much like that.

So I just downloaded Sons of the Jackal by Legion of the Damned and its pretty much interchangable with their S/T.

Yeah, their S/T was good for a few spins, but got old fast. They are a good example with what is wrong with the modern thrash scene.

Yeah. The only new Thrash I intend on checking out is the new Sauron EP whenever those lazy bastards get around to completing it.

Sauron never really did much for me. The Total Death cover was cool though

I actually own Thrash Assault, its one of the better retro thrash albums. I haven't heard their new EP, how is it?

I don't think the new EP is out yet, but I heard a couple of songs from it a while back and it was good from what I remember.

Do you guys like Anacrusis? I have Suffering Hour, and its pretty damn good. Sometimes the vocals are a little much, but everything else is awesome.

I'd say give it another chance, I dismissed it as boring when I first got it, then came back to it a couple of months later and was pleasantly surprised.

They introduced me into metal past Metallica and Iron Maiden.

I rarely ever listen to them at all anymore though. Hell, I hardly listen to thrash at all anymore.

I don't hate them, I just think they've overrated and lazy.
