KISS VEGAS GOODBYE

Wow, this thread turned into spam quick.

On topic, I bought a deluxe version of We Are the Romans (along with a special edition The Silent Circus which was nice) which I've been enjoying since my purchase of it. 90's metalcore certainly pwns most of this "new" stuff.

DBlitz 04-09-2008 05:45 AM

if you bought something, and you have been listening to it.

it means that you are finally...

are you?

McP3000 04-09-2008 07:38 AM

DBlitz 04-09-2008 07:39 AM

Yeah you'll see where Norma Jean got their style from.

McP3000 04-09-2008 07:41 AM

i've been told to stay away from Norma Jean

RetiredAt21 04-09-2008 07:43 AM

Many bands have tried to copy Botch and failed miserably.

Well all three albums have a different sound, so I'm sure one could appeal to you. I like all three.

RetiredAt21 04-09-2008 07:47 AM

Norma Jean's first album is the most generic metalcore on the planet. On the second album they tried to copy Botch and it didn't work because they aren't talented musicians. I have no idea what the third album sounds like.

DBlitz 04-09-2008 07:48 AM

I don't really like Norma Jean. They are ok I guess but its not something I can listen to often.

Is the third album "Redeemer"?

That ones boring

McP3000 04-09-2008 07:49 AM

See this is the type of things i usually hear about Norma Jean.

I also hear that they use very simple chord patterns and song structures too

DBlitz 04-09-2008 07:51 AM

So just get Botch

Yeah I mean not many people on here would like them. I guess its kinda primitive compared too all of the elite stuff around here. I enjoy them. They have catchy riffs and sometimes vocals.

This.

Dimmu Burger 04-09-2008 07:58 AM

I don't enjoy Botch as much as Norma Jean, to be honest. I guess I'm a music retard.
