scientology scams ppl out of their life savings for "healings" and kill ppl when they don't pay up or try to leave. they also recruit celebs because they want to have high profile. a group called anonymous was bombing all their churches and sending them anthrax

i sometimes prank call people and pretend to be with the church of scientology, then claim the number is blocked cuz our calling centers get harassed and im calling so late cuz were on the westcoast. then i read straight from the wiki page. had a very interesting 45 min convo with a mormon woman one time. it was great

I wasnt even trying to be rebellious, I was legitimately curious about what it was all about. I mean, I knew it was probably bogus but I went in as unbiased as I could be. Plus I was killing time while my then-girlfriend was getting a haircut or some bullshit like that.

Basically the stress test is you gotta hold these weird metal can things, which are heat sensitive, while they ask you extremely rude and invasive questions. She asked my friend if he was secretly miserable, then kept asking him what was "ruining his life". The idea is that you'll be angered by the questions, causing you to grip the metal things which causes the "e-thetan" reader to spike.

When I figured out how it worked I just held them in my hands without gripping when she asked bitchy questions and when she realized I figured it out she flipped out and csb.
