You should all join the mx slsk chat room.

It's called MX, so it's not too hard to find.

Leeds fest ftw.

Haha. Work was funny, me and my dept. supervisor were stuff bitching about our dept. manager, because we dont like her, and her husband was stood behind us.

2 days down, really only 2 to go since Friday is student appreiciation day and we do absolutely nothing.

I came home from school today and my mom did a bit of job searching for me on the web and found a lawncutting company looking for a student. It was paying $9.00 an hour and 35 hours a week of working. That's a shitload of money for a 16 year old. I would start saving for a car if I could get another job once winter came.

cobert 06-06-2006 02:45 PM

Tomorrow is a half day, and the last day of school. But on thursday, I have school band practice for graduation on the same day at 8 in the morning.

This summer I'll be going for a permit and then getting a job bagging groceries.

Mute Print 06-06-2006 02:47 PM

I have school through Monday, and then exams.

I need to get my permit over the summer. I've been putting it off for months now.

I should get a job too, as I'm in desperate need of money.

chumpradio 06-06-2006 02:49 PM

All the people finishing school : I have 7 exams left. :( One English exam, one Maths exam, two French exams and three Science exams.
They are the majority of the difficult exams as well.

I hope to get a job at a supermarket as well, I'm going down to Waitrose on Friday because my mum said that they have vacancies there, and Tesco doesn't.

This grass cutting job would be amazing. I would make so much money I could go to shows, and drive there (once I can drive), in my own car.:p

I had 19 exams during last month due to the unique way our system is.

I have 4 days of school, and 6 exams. One in english, one in history, one in math, one in Spanish, and two in chemistry. :(

Yeah, it sounds like a pretty good job. 35 hours a week is a lot though. We're only allowed to work 20 hours a week at 16.

I finished college for good about 4 weeks ago

cobert 06-06-2006 02:53 PM

Hahaha, my last final was today in chemistry, and i got 52/55. I thought i was going to do a lot worse.

Pazz 06-06-2006 02:55 PM

I have only done 1 of my exams. It was in Music Theory and it was simple as hell. Atleast an 80% on it. I have my Music playing on Monday, my Music History on Tuesday the 20th, History on the 21st, and English on the 22nd, then I'm done.

Dead Star 06-06-2006 02:56 PM

I still have about 3 weeks til the end of school. :(

cobert 06-06-2006 03:04 PM

Sucks for you.

Our algebra final yesterday didnt really count. He said in all of the 12 years he's been using this final, only about 5% of people ever got over a 70. This years highest grade was a 63. So basically, he said if your grade on it would help you out, he would keep the grade and your overall grade would go up If it hurt you, he would count it against you.

DepthsOfDreams555 06-06-2006 03:20 PM

I took my English and Tech Apps final today. English was easy...tech apps...was beyond easy. I got health, geometry, and spanish II finals tomorrow. They are going to suck!!! Then I got chem on Thursday, and then I'm done on Friday.

Got an exam on Thursday, but I'm doing a BTEC in Music Tech, and that's all based on coursework.

Overwhelming. Very overwhelming, but I've learnt a lot from this course. Mind you, I have 3 teachers all teaching different units of this course, so we have a lot to hand in usually. But if you are interested in it and can work hard, go for it dude. I got my first experience on a mixing desk from this.

Untitled 06-06-2006 03:44 PM

Oh right cool.

My art foundation is technicaly a BTEC, but because im doing it in a uni, im classed as doing a uni course and being a uni studant.

Also, theres some relay old books, like 300 years old in manchester central libary. There worth nearly 40k between them and one of the workers put them on ebay

On a different note, torrents are hard to use for a first time when trying to get a game :-/
