It probably won't be that bad, because I'm the right guide and one of the oldest/best/most respected players there, but I know it will be hot as hellllll.

I was in marching band for one game before I decided I had to get out.

What instrument do you play? Alto saxophone?

Will you have any, you know, "special" relationships with your instrument? You know, like in that pie movie.

I'll be trying out for jazz band this coming school year. I don't really want to do it anymore, so I hope they pick someone else.

I had a nice weekend. I saw Sigur Rós on Friday night, did not much on saturday, had dinner with friends and went to see [I]Land of the Dead[/I] on saturday night, then did nothing much on Sunday. Sigur Rós were amazing, [I]Land of the Dead[/I] was ok.

How was everybody else's weekend?

My weekend was pretty good. There was a huge march for voters' rights yesterday, which was inspiring and successful, and then I went to a great drum circle, then a bit of a ridiculous party, but ridiculous in a good way. Today, Mike and I nearly finished our next song, which is way more ambitious than the last one. I'm having lyrical trouble, but I'll get it done.

Today I went shopping for clothing. I'm breaking my 4 year trend of only wearing black t-shirts this year. Blue, purple, brown, and green are all now included in my wardrobe.

It's a burden and a blessing, I think. I quite like it, but I'm older than you, right? That changes things very quickly.

On an unrelated note, when I get back from dinner, I'm gonna start a discussion thread that's gonna blow y'alls minds.

Me and my friend are trying to decide what to do tonight, and having very little luck considering most of our city is comprised of Disneyland, and other tourist related things.

And no, we don't want to go to Disneyland.
