Municipal Waste don't really seem like an outdoor festival kind of band.

I thought about that too. Wacken is pretty damn big for them too.

they'll be kind of boring.. I mean their music is great and all, but when I saw them at H.O.B. this large venue it took away from the intensity, but when I saw them in this guy's garage downtown San Diego, there were like 200 people there lots of them trying to just get inside the garage, and the band was right there in your face and ****.

Is it just me or is Hirax, really really overrated? They're replacing Municipal Waste for the Destruction and Sadus west coast tour. And I'm bummed, just a little, I'd rather not have them play at all.

Sadus annoys me greatly.

Old Sadus is great, new Sadus is terrible.

How do those two compare to Feel the Fire, better or worse? Are they pretty similar styles?

[I]Feel the Fire[/I] (along with [I]Taking Over[/I]) are far more speed metal constructed. [I]The Years of Decay[/I] has a lot of variety. Really thrashy, some epic sounding stuff, and Overkill has a doomy song on every album. [I]Horrorscope[/I] is pretty much non-stop thrash all the way though, but with a tad bit more groove in the songs. The only exceptions are the doomy title track and the ending melodic ballid-ish song. Both are well worth getting

I don't like them hardly at all. I have Taking Over, Horrorscope, TYOD, I Hear Black, Killbox 13, ReliXIV, and the DVD.

Through their entire discography, I've found every album is worthy, though some more worthy than others. My top 3 at the moment would probably be "Feel the Fire", "Horrorscope" and "WFO".

"WFO" is my favorite from '93 on. It's such a wicked album, and the bass is LOUD.

Thrash bands are springing up everywhere. The genre has been given new life.

I'd be willing to bet the majority of those bands are Kreator rip offs. I don't know why, but everyone seems to try shamelessly ape the old German scene.
