I had another dream where I was working at a grocery store, and I flipped a **** on some lady for some reason or another and lost my job.

I hate those grocery store dreams. Shoprite definitely gave me the worst job in the world way back when.

Charizard 07-10-2008 12:41 PM

idk dude, grocery stores are simple work, i wish i didnt quit at wegman's

gmoneyguy 07-10-2008 12:42 PM

Simple work but faggot management.

132WalrusesInMexico 07-10-2008 12:43 PM

I work at a Veterans Hospital.

It sucks.

Luckily it's only for the summer until I go back to college.

the2stranger 07-10-2008 12:43 PM

Stevie IV 07-10-2008 02:10 PM

people spend much of their time filling the void that arises when there are no more tasks left to do. but these void fillers are not dealing with the problem - it just postpones the problem which most people do throughout their lives. but can the void of boredom and loneliness be faced and overcome? can it actually be done or would it drive you mad like prisoners on a life sentence? it's something id like to face when the time is right no matter how agonising - as long as there's a lifeline - insanity would do me no good

thoughts?

Boredom can be overcome when one finds their calling in life.

loneliness can be overcome when you realize that theres no such thing as being alone.

gmoneyguy 07-10-2008 06:33 PM

I believe Sartre something along the lines the boredom is the result of being uncomfortable with the self.

cometuesday 07-10-2008 06:43 PM

there is such a thing as being alone.

granted it's a subjective perception of one's environment and/or daily interaction...

and i love spicy food
it was almost unpleasant

132WalrusesInMexico 07-10-2008 07:49 PM

We should eat ethnic food together sometime.

The Thai food I had wasn't spicy. It was this vegetable plate with a curry/coconut sauce. It was so good.
