magicbus 07-11-2005 05:00 PM

The Clint Eastwood avatar is awesome.

I like Vice City the best, because I love mafia movies, and it's kinda like playing in one. III was pretty cool too, cool city. San Andreas is too big, I think. I stopped playing after getting to the second island.

EDIT: ATM too!? I'm not going to know who anybody is!

RiceMonster 07-11-2005 05:30 PM

Sweet, I got my name changed :D! I've been waiting for so long, and I hated my old name.

I'm EVH encase you don't know.

Mr. Squiggles 07-11-2005 05:37 PM

Everyone seems to be getting their name changed.

Lord Abortion 07-11-2005 05:55 PM

not me, God, MX is dead tonight :upset:

Riva 07-11-2005 05:57 PM

To catch up:

I like fishing, it's good fun. Especially with a beer in your hand.

I reckon Joe should be something like Bobby DeLange; it sounds fairly pommy.

My favourite of the GTAs was Vice City, simply because of the awesome soundtrack. The GTA: San Andreas soundtrack is pretty **** awesome as well, but doesn't have VCPR. :p

However, the best GTA for mass slaughter was Liberty City. Oh, the fun times I had with all weapons, stealing tanks, killing tanks, stealing more tanks. :D

Lord Abortion 07-11-2005 05:59 PM

yeah, the tank cheat was hours of fun, especially if you got about 10 and littered them all over

Riva 07-11-2005 06:25 PM

Tank cheat? I always get up to 6 wanted stars through various methods, then just get into a walled area (like the cathedral on the middle island), and let fly with grenades/molotovs. Then you jump the wall, and steal the tank.

You can kill tanks by blasting them with the flamethrower.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-11-2005 06:53 PM

Yo thread. I just got back from cd shopping, the dentist and eating chinese.

I got Dredg- Catch Without Arms and Mogwai- Come on Die Young. I just started listening to CWA, and so far it's great. Oh, and my swelling is almost gone.
Again, I don't know. All I know is that he's an idiot. The first chance I get for something better next summer, I'm taking it.
That's strange, I actually work for a company located in the Pittsburgh area. We're always looking for more people to work with us, so IM me if you want some more details on it.

http://www.sputnikmusic.com/album.php?reviewid=2777

Yes, I know that you are going to call this review lame. But give it a shot. Ray might like "Beantown," since he will likely understand all the Bostonian references throughout the song.

I have the album uploaded on a server, so let me know if you want to hear it :-\

Illmatic 07-11-2005 07:31 PM

OMG, that is the cheesiest song ever (regarding "Beantown")

"Yo, I rep the Bean, y'all see the way it be / Home of Source magazine, the Pats and Edo. G" and ending with "My aim is dangerous, like the Larry Bird set shot / It's clear now, you livin' in fear now / Big up Boston, the champ is here now."

Anyone see Bobby Abreu at the Home Run Derby? 24 home runs! Holy cow...the previous record for most homers in a round was Miggy Tejada with 15.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-11-2005 07:32 PM

Hey Jom, this may interest you since I know you like Catch 33. My friend just told me this, but Tomas Haake didn't actaully drum on the album. They recorded samples of his drums, and did all of the recording through a drum machine. They did this for two reasons. One, to make it sound more machine-like and two, due to time constraints. You may have already known this, but I found it to be quite interesting.

Illmatic 07-11-2005 07:33 PM
My favourite of the GTAs was Vice City, simply because of the awesome soundtrack.
Wildstyle and VCPR are just plain awesome. Espantoso is great, too. There were some good songs on VRock, the new wave stations were good cheesy fun, Emotion was worth listening to because Fernando was hilarious, and even KChat had its moments.

Jom 07-11-2005 07:34 PM

Yeah, I only wrote about it extensively in my review... :p

Meshuggah used Drumkit from Hell. The only time Hakke was featured on the album was when there was spoken word. That was his "role."

Heh heh heh. At least you learned something, though.

ATM 07-11-2005 07:35 PM

Sup dudes?

Im drinking brandy and diet root beer, and listening to Man in the Box.

Edit: Woah DBJ is kind, he actually gave me a name change.

Dr. Jake Destructo 07-11-2005 07:39 PM

You're not the only one.

/looks at everyone on this page

 Actaully, I got my change from Jeremy.

ATM 07-11-2005 07:41 PM

Man, am I bored. Everyone is already asleep here, and the only chick I know on the island is babysitting. She is suppoused to take me out partying later this week, though.

Edit: Ray, it's about time you caught up to my post count :p

BoboTheRagingHobo 07-11-2005 07:42 PM

Dentist's suck...

And I have to go back on Wed. to get a cavity filled, yay!

NP - Vintersorg - Till Fjalls

ATM 07-11-2005 07:42 PM

I hate going to the dentist. It would only be enjoyable if all dentists were hot women with big boobs that would hang in your face while they worked on you.

RCA 07-11-2005 07:45 PM
I hate going to the dentist. It would only be enjoyable if all dentists were hot women with big boobs that would hang in your face while they worked on you.
Amen to that. :chug:

ATM 07-11-2005 07:46 PM

Cool avatar, RCA. I like my new one, as well.

BoboTheRagingHobo 07-11-2005 07:46 PM

That would be alot better, I would suppose.

I would really like it if they would stop scraping your teeth with those damn sharp pokey things. That is the part that pisses me off all to hell.

NP - Vintersorg - Svältvinter

This song has an awesome acoustic intro and cool female vocals.

I Think I am going to go fire up my bike and do some riding...I am bored.

/edit

Alot of people are getting name changes, this is going to be weird for a bit to get used to them all heh.

Taste_My_Scythe 07-11-2005 07:48 PM

Hello dudes.
Just came back from playing guitar for a few hours. Feels good. Realized I lost all the parts that powerchord and I worked on for our entry in the cover competition. My computer really sucks. Watching Whose Line? right now.

ATM 07-11-2005 07:49 PM

Speaking of bikes, I am thinking about renting one for a day with my sister just to ride around the island. That would be sweet.

RCA 07-11-2005 07:49 PM

Whoa, I should just get my accounts merged.

NP: Destruction - Inventor Of Evil (new album looks promising)
