The Clipse album sucks. Everyone shut up.

The Incubus leak sucks for the most part too. Except "Light Grenades".

YDload 11-24-2006 05:01 PM

hey, The Dismemberment Plan's Change album is way better than Emergency and I! maybe i just think so because it sounds similar to Minus the Bear :(

Zebra 11-24-2006 05:55 PM

Tom Waits - Orphans

Second disc ftw.

Little Man being Erased 11-24-2006 09:27 PM

The Zombies - Odessey and Oracle
Bruce Springsteen - Greetings from Asbury Park, N.J.
Whiskeytown - Faithless Street
The Bronx - The Bronx

Fucking hell The Bronx rule.

I think I might need to bump Odessey and Oracle up my top albums 65-74 listy.

In The Country - Losing Stones, Collecting Bones
Fartein Valen - The Eternal
Both are gorgeous. In The Country has beefed up their songs - up to and even including vocals. It's a solid record through and through.

AlienEater 11-25-2006 07:49 AM

Floor - Dove

Zebra 11-25-2006 12:38 PM

Cake - Comfort Eagle

Robert Crumb 11-25-2006 03:55 PM

Rain Parade - Emergency Third Rail Power Trip

Neat. Guitarist has some nice Verlaine moments.

Zmev 11-25-2006 05:17 PM

The Drones - Wait Long By The River And The Bodies Of Your Enemies Will Float By

This is pretty good.

Glitterati 11-25-2006 05:24 PM

Neil Young & Crazy Horse - Tonight's The Night

Neil is always good but I feel like I'm in a music rut. My last.fm just seems to be a variation of the same things every week.

Glitterati 11-25-2006 09:05 PM

Low - Long Division

DMD this is really good. I mean......wow.

Thanks.
I is so much better. They should have kept Gilby Clarke as producer :(
True. But they're both pretty much awesome anyway.

Eliminator 11-25-2006 11:32 PM

Low - Long Division

Kind of boring.

The Game - Doctor's Advocate

See above.

Little Man being Erased 11-26-2006 12:22 AM

The Devastations - Coal

Wow, this is really good. Not what I expected though. Just because of their name I kind of expected some sort of semi-hardcore band or something, but it's pretty much lush pop music. Really good vocals.

Yay for Aussie music!

Glitterati 11-26-2006 12:30 AM

The Rolling Stones - Exile On Main St.

Rip This Joint is one of those songs I would love to dance to if I didn't have two left feet.

The National - Sad Songs for Dirty Lovers

I'm listening to this right now, and although I like it, I am very tired and cannot handle such mellow music right now. So I'll have to get back to it some other time.

Darren Hanlon - Early Days
Messiah J & The Expert - Now This I Have To Hear

pixiesfanyo 11-26-2006 02:03 PM

Brand New - Deja Entendu

Sometimes, I really want to listen to this album. It's really average though.

pixiesfanyo 11-26-2006 02:10 PM

Every song on it is good. It's just, none of them are like.. BAM!

mr_jackalope 11-26-2006 02:31 PM

Your friends argue about Morrissey compilations? I wish I had friends that would do that.

EDIT: oo god leet post count

NineBitFable 11-26-2006 02:46 PM

The Whigs

I have NO IDEA how I had not heard of this band before. Kind of like the strokes meets the Replacements. . . but so much better.

AlienEater 11-26-2006 05:29 PM

Dan Sartain Vs. the Serpientes
Spase rockabilly, pretty cool.

Xenakis - Electronic music
A collection of some of his electronic compositions. I like it.

Think if post punk and fusion had a baby, and they lived in a SST house and Mike Watt was the babysitter.
Low - I Could Live In Hope

you know how Long Division is like being in a swimming pool? This is like being in a dirt tunnel underground. It's not as good but "Words" is fantastic.
Could you upload that? When I search for more Low on slsk a bunch of shitty rappers come up.
