It is a pretty good game, if I remember correctly; main complaint is that it claims to be open-ended, and then has too many situations where you have to just fight.

My two complaints were that the combat was exceptionally boring, and that the story line was so long that I lost interest in it after a while and didn't bother to finish.

If you just want [i]a[/i] role-playing game, there are better ones. It's not bad if you're just a fan of RPGs, though.

Yeah. It's probably the most well received RPG series out. It's so overwhelming though, I can never seem to get into it and believe me, I've tried.

Same. I enjoyed Fable and Kotor, but they're not as intense as most RPGs.

The new Elder scrolls is supposed to improve on its weaknesses, such as the fighting.

I'm watching this Quo Vadis DVD. They managed to find someone who can play Steve DiGiorgio's fretless bass parts, it's sick. It's weird though, the intro for the dvd had three topless dancers covered in paint and a full choir on stage....

Most popular RPG series is Final Fantasy, Hands down. The games are brilliant, especially FF3.

I've never played Final Fantasy. I've watched someone play for about 5 minutes though. Thats about it.

Final Fantasy is boring. Not to mention extremely nerdy.
