i tried listening to Big Black and i couldnt get into it. same for Rapeman. the music isnt bad it just doesnt do it for me. i hope Albini wont come rape me

idk Jeff I just love the cutting metallic guitars and drum machines of Big Black, both [i]Atomizer[/i] and [i]Songs About ****ing[/i] really do it for me. Rapeman is similar, but has a live drummer. Needless to say, I still like it (in some ways more than Big Black).

since i was 0 for 2 with Albini i decided not to check out Shellac. what's different about it?

Haz, i may eventually give those 2 another chance as anything real noisy doesnt sit well with me at first

Rapeman is okay, but Big Black rules.

Albini's work with Zeni Geva is quite great too. You should check them out, Jeff, it's like crazy Noise/Metalcore from japan with Albini recording and playing the drums in a couple of songs.

Shellac is something like math rock, noise, post punk idk they rule, haha.
