I'm at the part in Half-Life 2 where you have that crazy Russian/Arabic guy with the shotgun helping you with the crazy alien creatures that climb up the gutters on top of the building. I just got out of the cemetery with him and left my crazy Russian/Arabic guy behind when he opened the gate.

"Hello, my brother! Did I not tell you to seek the church? You are on the wrong side of town, my friend." Every time he calls me "brother," I think Hulk Hogan is talking to me, heh.

Holy man, Half-Life 2 creeps me out. Such a good game, but I actually shouted "Holy shit!" once :(

It was when some crazy animal thing broke through some wood barricades.
There is a reason to why they say "we don't go to Ravenholm". :p

I admit, that place is creepy. The game gets alot funner from that point on though.

And if you think that game can scare you, go check out Painkiller, creepy as hell game.

I would make it as well. Manchester isn't that far, plus it will be a fun trip.
London is just way to far for me to travel.

Heh..I love how you always provide a sort of running commentary on whatever you're listening to.

Yeah, I loved doing this too. My favorite was very early in the game, when you hit the elevator button, the cable snapped and you see four or five scientists fall past you screaming and then there's a big explosion... and when you look down, all you see are their dead, burnt bodies

As for Jelle's question: no, you can't kill your friends. The gun points away from them and you can't fire.

superpeer 07-11-2005 02:00 PM

I hate it when you can't kill people you're not supposed to kill. That's my favourite thing to do in games like that, screw missions.

We dont go to Ravenholm anymore... Thats where you are introduced to the poison face huggers, and that level is the high point of the game.

Yeah, I love games like Timesplitters 2 where even if you do fuck up you can still play the game and shoot everyone.

I loved having fun with the laser mines in HL. So many hours wasted...so fun, though.

Jom had a dream about the board? Poor guy; works too hard.
EDIT: Leah, Superpeer is Belgian, and so we make every possible annoying waffle reference possible since Belgium makes the best ones.
Ah, ok. That's what I thought, I just wasn't sure.
Rather like how HeavyRiva gets teased for riding his pet kangaroo to school, and such.
 Kangaroos are cool, though.

Went to the mall to get out of the house a little bit. Got dragged around to lame stores by the French kids and another american girl. Nothing interesting happened; I saw a dude in a Maiden shirt. That's about it. Too many "gangstas" today. :upset: They kept checking me out...real obviously too.

High point of the game : When you get the awesome gravity gun and own every one with it.

Ravenholm is just creepy, especially with the crazy Russian priest running around with a shot gun.

No...

Then again, you have the Knicks, Nets, Rutgers, and St. John's, so basketball probably wouldn't be high on your list.

And the end if pretty cool, but i think the super grav gun is abit dumb.

The ragdoll physics in this game are the best i have ever seen though, and it is probably my faverouite game ever.

I hate San Andreas so much, I absolutely fucking hate it. GTA III is still my favorite.

And I far prefer Vice City to III.
