It just about broke my eardrums and not because its so br00tal. I think its at a really high bitrate cause its way louder than everything else on my iPod.

If you right-click on the songs, click on Get Info and go to Options, the slider might be much higher than everything else if you want to fix it.

Yeah I've had to do that to make things louder, but haven't had to make anything quieter yet. Nifty feature though.

I'm pretty sure that the bit rate has nothing to do with how loud the song is. You just have to turn the slider down like Deth said.

I used to like Slit Your Guts the most, but now I think the whole album is equally good.
