the son was an emo kid- look at his hair...

and plus he was either listening to emo or pop-punk in that scene, you could tell by the whiney, nasal american accent of the vocalist
True... I retract my statement.
:( I thought the Indiana Jones movies were really good.

And c'mon, Saving Private Ryan, Schindler's List, he's done lots of great movies since Third Kind.
With the exception of Schindler's List, those other movies were great because they were carried on the backs of fantastic actors. Schindler's List had a great story and great acting. But I don't really see the artistic direction from Spielberg.
I didnt know this about removal. Well, Joe 'think about it man, they last forever'! However painless they are, they're done with needles and this alone is very discouraging :(
Well it is not like actual individual needles, its more like a pen, the needle moves in and out really fast and it doesnt hurt a whole lot, only when it gets close to the backs joints like elbows and knees.
Munky Magik...

Has anyone seen a show called "I'm Alan Patridge"? It's on TV right now (1.49AM) and it's British. It's quite hilarious.
Easily one of my favorite sitcoms of all time, alan partridge is such a class character, i could go on for hours with just alan partridge quotes. The best one though is defintiely where he meets the obsessive fan.

I love Alan Partridge I have the second series on dvd one of my favourite quotes were

I can read you like a book but your not a very good one.

NJMetalMeister 07-11-2005 11:17 AM

hahahaha that's a great quote, my favorite from the second series is when hes describing the entire bond film.

Six Foot Revolver 07-11-2005 11:28 AM

The one where he meets his fan who is obsessed and Alan is playing along and making all these plans to meet him again and then when Alan gets into the car he goes "you're a fucking nutter!" and drives away with the guy chasing after him. That one was friggin' hilarious. In other news I decided to get a name change :)

clearvision 07-11-2005 11:32 AM

Your name sucks Jake, MXican was better. what are you gonna do about MXican radio? basically you suck.

Have a nice day :p

This is probably my favorite quote from the episode though:

Alan Partridge: 'Sunday Bloody Sunday'. What a great song. It really encapsulates the frustration of a Sunday, doesn't it? You wake up in the morning, you've got to read all the Sunday papers, the kids are running round, you've got to mow the lawn, wash the car, and you think "Sunday, bloody Sunday!".

Aidan Walsh: I really hate to do this to you, Alan, but it's actually a song about...

Paul Tool: Yeah, bloody Sunday is actually about a massacre in Derry in 1972.

Alan Partridge: A massacre? Ugh. I'm not playing that again.

Whats up everyone. Well I suppose its time for my monthly visit here to the forums, but once I have more time I think I'll start posting more.

Anyways I just got the new Disturbed song "Perfect Insanity" and its really good. It sound nothing like the other albums imo. I just thought I'd post it here for ya'll and I apologize its poor audio quality.

Peace Out

Hey Pete, good to see you back around here.

And thanks for the song. Thanks to you and Ali, I have two songs from the new album.

Hopefully this new song is as good as you say it is :)

EDIT: Heh, Cain, that was one messed up dream... but also funny.

Lord Abortion 07-11-2005 12:22 PM

how hard do you have to hit a wireless network box to break it?

I feel like hitting the bastard thing and don't want to actually break it cause then there's no interwebs at all...

you would have to hit it fairly hard to completely destroy it, however a moderate hit could knock something loose that could come back to haunt you a bit down the line.

clearvision 07-11-2005 12:33 PM

What he's trying to say is, don't hit it at all :)

NP: Dream Theater - Endless Sacrifice

Really DT are the only band i've been listening to for about two weeks, apart from pop-punk, but they really are so good. "The Great Debate" is one of my new favourites.
But i've been listening to so much, and i got the keyboard anthology at the weekend, so i've been thrashing through that, well as best i can anyway, Jordan is too good.

Anyway, how is it going R&M?

Are you really that surprised? They aren't exatly renowned for their electric live performance.
If you actually liked the band then you would've enjoyed their set.

I'm at the part in Half-Life 2 where you have that crazy Russian/Arabic guy with the shotgun helping you with the crazy alien creatures that climb up the gutters on top of the building. I just got out of the cemetery with him and left my crazy Russian/Arabic guy behind when he opened the gate.

"Hello, my brother! Did I not tell you to seek the church? You are on the wrong side of town, my friend." Every time he calls me "brother," I think Hulk Hogan is talking to me, heh.

Holy man, Half-Life 2 creeps me out. Such a good game, but I actually shouted "Holy shit!" once :(

It was when some crazy animal thing broke through some wood barricades.
