Adam Jones is GOD 08-03-2005 04:52 PM
/shakes head

I'm beginning to feel PT taking over me as my new favorite band.
I gave up on having a favourite a long time ago. Its just not worth the hassle.

But PT are climbing my playlist ladder quickly

 Truth.

I have a pretty consistent top 5, though. I've just stopped worrying about the actual order.

Rothmans 08-03-2005 04:55 PM

I use to be like that and Neurosis came into my life.

Now I have them and obsessions.

Dr. Jake Destructo 08-03-2005 05:02 PM

I think mine would go:

Tool
Rage Against the Machine
Pink Floyd
Porcupine Tree
Dredg
Cog

Somewhat in order. Your turn!

Rothmans 08-03-2005 05:06 PM

At the moment:

Neurosis
Enslaved
Darkthrone (nearly always on there)
Swans
GSY!BE/meshuggah.

Adam Jones is GOD 08-03-2005 05:08 PM

Opeth
Mogwai
Porcupine Tree
Biffy Clyro
Million Dead

Most loved at the moment

Futuro 08-03-2005 05:12 PM

Adam Jones is GOD 08-03-2005 05:20 PM

Rothmans 08-03-2005 05:31 PM

Does anybody know what a COMATORIUM is????

I was browsing Dissectional... man is that a weird site. Not just cause of the images. It must have taken considerable effort to put that flash **** in. I'm no expert though.

YouGottaBeCrazy 08-03-2005 06:27 PM
Would anyone like some more PT, as I have the discography?
I really would. The only songs I've heard are Deadwing which I like a lot and Russia on Ice which I absolutely love. It reminds me so much of Floyd for the first 7 minutes. Man, kick *** solo.

Darkness 08-03-2005 06:29 PM
There's gonna be loads of anti tool comments floating around during these polls, we've been through it before though.
I know I'm late on this comment, but I was gone all afternoon jamming... Anyways, we just have to ignore all the losers and keep voting for Tool when they deserve the votes.

emo=elmow/otheL 08-03-2005 07:52 PM

This is my favorite out of all of the lists so far. Pristine choices my friend.

@Expresso- I think it's a made up word, but from what I can tell from the roots of the word, here's what I got:

Coma- A state of extended sleep

-torium- suffix commonly associated with types of buildings. Eg: auditorium

Therefore, if you put two and two together, you get a building of extended sleep. :-D

ThePatient 08-03-2005 10:22 PM

I love lists.

Tool
The Eagles
Opeth
King Crimson
Dreamtheater

Darkness 08-03-2005 10:41 PM
This is my favorite out of all of the lists so far. Pristine choices my friend.
Why thank you. :)

We should get some Tool discussion going and stop blatantly raising our postcounts.

Does Dissectional actually serve any purpose? I've never looked into because it's not dial up friendly, and when I'm on a decent connection I don't want any excess downloads whatsoever due to me being really badly overcharged for internet access.

Darkness 08-03-2005 10:48 PM

Not really, just a lot of different art and some games and stuff.
