People wore Spuck the Fartans shirts against my school's team.

That works out well.

Zappa 11-18-2006 02:07 AM

Now that's a good one.

ATM 11-18-2006 02:28 AM

Tung Twista - Runnin' Off At Da Mouth

Excellent, all rap fans track this down.

ATM 11-18-2006 02:33 AM
I totally second Sarah Blasko. She has quite honestly made one of the best albums of the year.
Yeah I totally agree. Been in my car for the last week.

I really want that.

I'll get it eventually.

Kyle 11-18-2006 10:40 AM

Silversun Pickups - Carnavas
I went off this for like 4 months, but getting back into it now. Some pretty great tunes on here, but a few weak ones aswell.

Red House Painters - Ocean Beach
Digging this big time right now, great music to do my essay to.

Mr Scruff - Trouser Jazz
Saw him live last night, the man's a genius.

AlienEater 11-18-2006 11:19 AM

Mr Scruff's really cool.

I'm digging Eleventh Dream Day - Eighth now. They're a really cool band, members of Tortoise are in it, and Ira Kaplan guest on guitar for most of it.

Glitterati 11-18-2006 11:21 AM
I listened to Broken Social Scene - You Forgot It In People just before. It was good I guess, but I just sort of drifted in and out of it.
It's pretty good, but it doesn't have anything that really reaches out and grabs you.

Kayetan 11-18-2006 12:06 PM

Vashti Bunyan- Another Diamond Day

This album is so nice.

Bukowski 11-18-2006 12:07 PM

I'm seeing The Melvins (with Flipper supporting!) in December, so I'll need to check A Senile Animal.

I'm digging this ****:

PECOAE 11-18-2006 12:14 PM
it has three things that reach out and grab you. They are called "Stars and Sons", "Almost Crimes" and "Cause = Time".
I'll add "Lover's Spit" to that. That album's one of my favorites.

mr_jackalope 11-18-2006 03:21 PM
it has three things that reach out and grab you. They are called "Stars and Sons", "Almost Crimes" and "Cause = Time".
Bedroom Rock for the Missionaries > Shampoo Suicide is the best moment on the album.

mr_jackalope 11-18-2006 03:23 PM

Also, now playing: Felt - Forever Breathes the Lonely Word

convulsion 11-18-2006 04:52 PM

Yo La Tengo - I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One
Joanna Newsom - Ys
The Bronx - The Bronx II

I think The Bronx just murdered Joanna Newsom.

But anyway. I Can Hear the Heart Beating as One is awesome. Not sure about Ys yet. And of course The Bronx II is fucking awesome.

Now I'm listening to The Jesus Lizard - Goat.

Little Man being Erased 11-19-2006 03:25 AM
Neurosis - Through Silver in Blood

seems like a meathead comment, but there needs to be more brvtal metal on here and less strings/piano/violin. It's not their strong suit. The brvtal metal parts are brvtal as hell though.
I really like that album. When I saw them last night they mainly played brvtal metal, not sure which songs if any they played this though.

Sonic Youth: SYR 4

I've had this for a while, but never really listened to it. I like it.

Bukowski 11-19-2006 09:43 AM

Loop - Heaven's End

So deliciousy druggy.

Kyle 11-19-2006 09:49 AM

hmmm the new Incubus leaked, I'll give it a try.

Anxious 11-19-2006 10:50 AM

syr 4 is sweet

"Having Never Written a Note for Percussion" is the best song

AlienEater 11-19-2006 12:25 PM

Yeah it's really cool, I don't know why I basically ignored it.
