I got my 2 year old niece into Metallica by way of S&M.

Thats actually not a bad idea cause most of the people that give me sh[SIZE=2]i[/SIZE]t for liking metallica havent even heard them. (mostly my black friends, and friends that are girls)

I cant stand when people say metallica screams, its the biggest bs ive ever heard. There are too many d[SIZE=2]a[/SIZE]mn people that stereptype metal as people with heavy distorted guitars, playing easy stuff, and screaming on the top of there lungs.

Yeah.. I guess it's better than Enter Sandman.. but they didn't even play up to the solo.. or play up to where Hetfield starts singing.. it was just repeat of the intro

My favorite Metallica album changes almost everyday. Right now it's Kill Em' All, but only because it's a recent purchase.

Mines Ride, then kill, although my fav song is hit the lights (which they should of done in live ****!) then a big drop to master then close behind to black. then ajfa a bit higher to a huge drop to basically "yuck" pile in all of their stuff after 91.

Adding on to an older conversation, my sister loves Metallica. Of course she got into them via their more accessbile albums (black, S&M) but she loves MOP and even came to their concert with me...it's only a matter of time before i get her to listen to Kill Em all.

My sister let me down big time. She used to be into all kinds of metal, including Metallica. Now, she has completely abandoned her metal roots and is preparing to go to a Ashley Simpson "concert" tomorrow. That's all she listens to now...meh. Anyway my current favorite album is AJFA, but like Slip said it changes very often.

My sister is eight.. she loves Ashlee Simpson and hates Metallica.. My parents listen to Metallica though

Ya my fav album used to change constantly for a period of time but it's been MOP for a good long while now and it probably won't change..unless their new album is unbelievable.

Ughh, i hate trapped under ice. Yet so many regulars in this thread love it. It just has no flow to it IMO.

ride the lightning is a great album, my favourite tracks being fight fire with fire, ride the lightning, for whom the bell tolls, fade to black & call of ktulu. escape, creeping death & trapped under ice IMO are ok tracks, not the best though.

hey everyone, im new to this site but in no way new to my boys metallica. i love basically all their albums. kill em all, ride the lightning, and mop being my favourites by far. i can play a lot of their stuff, bar basically all of kirks solo's, although the intro to fade to black, one, and welcome home are easy, but yeah hope i havnt found this forum to late. peace
