|
or maybe, Bob Rock: I just love playing this kind of music
Lars : This kind of music!? We are the greatest f***ing heavy metal band ever, we aren't just this type of f***ing music!
I love Metallica, and I think Lars is a fine drummer... but he is such an ***hole. I dont like his "I'm the best ever" and "screw the fans" attitude. |
yeah well noones perfect and lars hasnt exactly had anyone to bring him down to earth in the last 20 years, hence the stratospheric ego
|
bought SKOM of monster last night
o m f g it was absolutely unreal, and not just saying that from a biased fans point of view. the humor perfectly broke the pattern of solemnness that you got from the therapy sessions. lol, fav monent, "call now and we wil lshove 50 grand up your @ss!" "yeah, in one dollar bills" or maybe, Bob Rock: I just love playing this kind of music Lars : This kind of music!? We are the greatest f***ing heavy metal band ever, we aren't just this type of f***ing music! also, i think i have a better understanding of what the guys really are. they arent just this huge gods plated in gold, they are pretty much like anyone with problems and issues with the people they love. after seeing bob rock and the work he did on st anger and the stuff he put up with, makes me think he isnt a bad bloke. shame he is simple plans producer -vomits- the dvd itself was worth it, i mean i got a shiit load of stuff for just 25 bucks, (about 19 bucks US) so it kept me intertained for at least five hours. SKOM = 15/10
how could you forget: Bob Rock: I'm too old for this, and fat. Kirk: Trimspa baby BEST PART OF THE MOVIE |
hehehe that was a beaut as well
i was running today and i thought abouyt having to spend time with you and i just thought f*** -walks up to face- F*************UCK |
i like the deleted scenes, theres one where bob and lars are going over a drum sequence and it's hysterical
|
lol hehe dulahlahlalalalalalalala DAH DAH DAH
oh my god no1 could make a bigger fool of emselves than lars and bob did in that scene HAHA |
The one where Lars swears he's "ruining the song" because he's taking out like one note. yeah, that's hilarious.
|
strange watching kirk screw up on that riff for skom though, thought all the craap on st anger would have been a walk in the park but he was sweating over it
|

|

That would be ok with me. I really like the Black Album, despite what others think |

Yeah the Movie itself was great, but i think the deleted scenes were more entertaining, there was much more actual music in them instead of just arguing. My favorite one would have to be them plannning out the Oakland Raiders parking lot show, i think that was a genius idea, and i think it would probly be the best thing ever to have been there (football, beer, barbecue, metallica) doesnt get much better than that. |

Theres football, beer, bbq, and metallica playing you a personal concert right there in front of you |

Yeah me too... black album is overrated and underrated at the same time.... Edit: after reading that post It makes no sence at all  |
Yeah me too... black album is overrated and underrated at the same time....

I think the classic Metallica fans don't like it because it's when they changed, and alot of fans love it becuase it was their first introduction to the band.
|
I finally saw SKOM the other day after waiting forever for it to be available here.
|
Just ordered it today... but due to the bad wether (a hell lot of snow) I don't know when it'll be here...

Definately not a bad album but still over-rated IMO |
Definately not a bad album but still over-rated IMO
Yeah it is anything but a BAD album. I think it is a great album, even though i would choose any of there first 4 over it, it is their 5th best cd, its still in my top 10 albums of all time though. It is overrated in the sense that it has sold more than any other metallica cd, but if u talk to most hardcore metallica fans they will tell u that it is not the best one they have made. So i guess yes, it is overrated by average listener, but not by the extreme metallica fan-base. |

Yes it is overrated, but i agree with cjborton and R. Blythe, it doesn't make it a bad album at all and it's actually one of my favorite albums. it sold way too many albums. the other four ahead of it should have sold more |
Black, Reload and AJFA are my LEAST fav 'tallica albums.
Although it doesn't mean that Black album is bad. Tastes are different. Some may like it. Overall, it's a great album. Maybe the problem is in me... |
I find the black album kinda annoying because people hear it and say "yeah, I also really like metallica" and Im like really? And they say "yeah, Nothing else matters is my fave". Maybe Im beeing awkward, but I find that annoying.
Well that's ok with me. It bothers me if they call it their fave if they haven't heard any of the other albums. I know some people that like all Metallica and some that only like the black album. It's ok with me, I just hope they buy the older albums |
Thats what annoys me. My sister likes The Unforgiven and Nothing Else Matters, but you wouldnt catch her listening to The Call Of Ktulu.
My sister loves the Black Album, but she loves MOP more so I accept her. |
My sister hates Metallica :upset:
Although she sometimes listens to Megadeth and Maiden |
My sister listens to rap. Only good thing she likes is RATM and Ozzy.
|
^^ i feel your pain, somewhat. my sis likes a bit of rap
