RetiredAt21 04-01-2008 08:39 AM

Breakdowns are good when used properly.
Stop being homosexuals.

The Opposite of December is a pretty siqq album I've been spinnin' it recently again.
I remember the day the sun went out
It halted all progression with all its beauty
it just sacrificed / we fell apart

gotta love a bitta ptw

and bmth does have good vocals. Shame the rest of their music is pretty much style over substance

Oli Sykes is in no way a talented vocalist. Yeah, his technique is alright, but he is boring and his range isn't that wonderful. I know everyone hates Job For A Cowboy - but in all fairness, those guys are pretty talented and tech for their age. Genesis was simply to samey and Doom had too many breakdowns. If they get the balance right they'll come of age in time.

But BMTH are just plain bad. Johnny Truant do it for me - In the Library of Horrific Events is a sick album. Nice work on the Sylosis avatar Frankie - Eternal Lord (Swindon's hottest) then Reading's finest! Nice.

i just think that jfac got the timing right with coming out as one of the premiere 'deathcore' bands, i like them, but they get old VERY fast

AFragileHope 04-01-2008 12:43 PM

Too true. Entombment of a Machine and Knee Deep are sick songs though. Job For A Cowboy have a lot going for them - they're a great live act too, very intense, very tight.

beans 04-01-2008 12:45 PM

see i saw them twice, once at sounds of the underground 2007 and they didnt do a good job, they took too many water breaks and didnt seem like they even wanted to be playing, but when they came through my town with the red chord and skeletonwitch they killed it, great live show, so they're more of a hit or miss with me
and i agree, those two songs are very good

AFragileHope 04-01-2008 12:49 PM

The Red Chord are insane live. I've seen them twice and they blew me away both times. I saw The Black Dahlia Murder with JFaC and TRC at Portsmouth. It was a great night.

beans 04-01-2008 12:52 PM

sounds like it, i've always been a big fan of thier stuff

Prey For Eyes is an immense album. Clients was great too but not as well developed in sound as PfE. However, Fused is utterly ludicrous. So good.

Btw bunit, do you know who I am? lol

beans 04-01-2008 01:08 PM

Dimmu Burger 04-01-2008 01:56 PM

Clients sucked. Prey For Eyes was a huge improvement but still cannot touch Fused.

Iluvatar 04-01-2008 07:51 PM

masscows 04-01-2008 07:54 PM
