And now, this is it. In about 15 minutes I'll be leaving to move into "uni." I'm feeling extremely nervous and hopeful that I'll be able to squeeze in some beyond-solid guitar practice today. :(

Indeed lol @ practice. I never pick up a guitar with the intent to practise, just because I feel like it. Practice is an incidental benefit.

I like learning maybe 4 songs in an hour. Then I have a massive list I can play through if I need to kill 2 hours.

Yea I know, it would be nice to start earlier since I'm basically wasting a week of my time being home until I move out. We were actually supposed to get our lease around the 27th but that got delayed to allow for cleaning/painting.

I might print out the tabs, learn a few riffs, and then not learn anymore of the song for weeks. Sometimes, I don't go back to it at all. And that's for the rare times I actually print out tabs.

I do know more then half the Iced Earth discography however, so I'm okay.

Yea it is, but this place is already furnished so it will be basically like moving into a dorm again in terms of the actual stuff I have to bring.

Nice. My problem with moving was always just that I lose motivation to unpack as soon as my place is functional so I never use half of what I bring initially. I move stuff out slowly after the initial move but when I move a year later some of it hasn't even been out like a month heh =|
