I was suprised that Gilmour agreed to a reunion show, after his response to Roger after Live8.

i saw gilmour on april 4., in the 100-200 seat area. 170 dollars(!!), but definately worth it. im going to the sep12 waters show. i didnt think that wright would be there, because the kid that told me that asked if i thought gilmour would show up. oh well. does anyone know if nick mason will be at the sep 12 show?

I find irony in Pink Floyd memebers touring. Although I think they would get angry at each other on tour, would it kill them to get together and play 12 huge cities across the world.


I remember hearing them say how that they won't tour, because of what it takes out of you.. And they're touring!

Could be. I believe they would actually lose money for everyday they toured for the Division Bell -- No one in Pink Floyd made any money.

Yep we were at the same show wasn't it amazing? His cover of Dominoes, Echoes and SOYCD were the highlights of the show for me. Also I wouldn't get my hopes up about both Rick and Nick being there. On Roger's official site it says only Nick will be there, and only for 3 or 4 of the shows.

Even if they tried to do a full scale reunion tour, it'd probably turn into some hugely publicized blow up that would end up making them all look bad. I'd rather them just tour seperately.

I just got Live at Pompeii, I'm going to watch it later with my dad.

I missed out on Gilmour coming here which really pissed me off. Tickets sold out really fast. Waters is coming here in the fall, but I'm not going to even try to get tickets. He's a great songwriter, but he's not much of a singer or bassist anymore. I'd much rather see The Who and Clapton with the money I'll be saving.

I watched Pompeii, it's really great. I watched the original version because I heard the director's cut sucked. I love that old-school Floyd.

No, it's just the concert. the reviews on Amazon said all that extra stuff messed up the flow of it all.

It was still really good, there just wasn't as much concert footage as I would have liked. The interviews are really good, it's probably worth it to get both.

On my dvd copy of Live At Pompeii (titled as the director's cut) I have both versions of the concert. The original was somewhere in the extras I think. I like the Director's Cut more.

Anyways, I just learned how to play the solo from "Time" today and wow does it sound amazing. Kinda fun playing along with the record.

I always thought the solo in Time was very underrated in comparison to other Gilmour solos.

Time solo's good, but as far as underrated solo's go, I love the one in the 'Fletcher Memorial Home'.

I love the solo in Time, but I don't think it's underrated. The solo in Any Colour You Like, now that's an underrated masterpiece.

Yes, that is a good solo. I think most of [I]The Final Cut[/I] is underrated, considering how Not Now John is just as fun and rocky as Free Four.

I heard that Mason joined Gilmour on his last show of the tour. I think I heard that David Bowie sang "Arnold Layne" at another show.

All these great concerts and I miss out on them. :-/
