They are the record lable Rilo Kiley are on. They have the most wonderful artists. So, assuming you know of Saddle-Creek Records you would like other bands from them.

Zappa 11-25-2004 02:25 PM

Pinskey from Salute Your Shorts is in Rilo Kiley.

+ bright eyes, and the good life.

Zappa 11-25-2004 02:41 PM

Don't you remember the show Salute Your Shorts from Nickelodeon, Doc?

There was a character on it named Pinskey. I think he came in with the second season. The actor who played him is now the lead guitarist in Rilo Kiley.

yeah, back when they first released their first lp, i saw them open for Ozma in a little bar. someone was like, that's pinksy (and joey the rat from boy meets world) but dont call him that, his name is blake. the hidden track on their first album is called "Salute My Shorts."

Master Arkam Kannon 11-25-2004 02:49 PM
+ bright eyes, and the good life.
i stand by what i said.

Iai 11-25-2004 02:58 PM

Today I have mostly been diggin' Fleetwood Mac's Rumours.

I dug it out today for the first time in a few years, and I can't believe how good it is. I never remember it being that good, or even good at all. Then again, since I last listened to it, I've been through a lot and aged a lot. Plus I have a much broader taste now than then. So, yeah, it surprised me.

Well_Respected_Man 11-25-2004 03:45 PM

I've been grooving to Soft Machine's Thrid all day long. "Moon In June" will be my favorite song for a long time.

Happymeal 11-25-2004 05:45 PM

I dunno but I just can't get into Bright Eyes for some reason.

Pinback's Offcell EP has been keeping me occupied for the past 2 hours.

Tapeworm 11-25-2004 08:09 PM

I love Bright Eyes. I seem to have to say that non-stop.

I've been diggin on Little Birdy still.
