Who's seeing them this year? I was going to goto Download, but found out its 3day only, so I'd have to pay to see Linkin Park.

Mine is RTL.

Master of Puppets could be a work of art,with all the symbolism etc.,like the puppet strings attatched to the war graves beinf pulled by 'godlike' hands,and the setting sun in the background showing the sun setting on 'just another' set of war casualties.I think it suits the album perfectly.

How do the Metallica fans in here feel about St.Anger? Liking it or disappointed?

Dissapointed? Yes. Like it? Yes.

I've found that the case with a lot of big Metallica fans. Personally, I was truly disappointed...The lack of lead was a big let down...But it's one of those things that has to grow on you. The guys were trying something different and I respect them for that. There is also the fact that no matter what Metallica puts out, they will still be successful because their fans are going to appreciate them no matter what.

This has been discussed in many a thread,but I reckon it comes down to the fact that it is good album that is a HUGE improvement on the Load-era.It was let down by a bad mix,a lack of solos and a spot of poor track editing,but nevertheless it is a decent album.It has, however, split the fans right down the middle, and half despise the band and label it nu-metal, wheras the other half respoect Metallicas new direction and welcome the fact that they are getting back to playing older stuff live.There's a funny spoof of St.Anger on a page somwhere on rock & metal.

As A Metallica album I'm sure it's still decent.

St Anger is great album, just not as good as all of the other Metallica albums

It wasn't a terrible Metallica album.Load is a terrible Metallica album.

I like ost of them actually,though Invisble Kid is pretty poor,and Shoot Me Again and My World aren't fantastic.I'd probably say Dirty Window,The Unnamed Feeling and All Within My Hands.

Unnamed feeling or St. anger

Dirty Window or Sweet Amber.

The Unnamed Feeling, cause it's the only good song.

St. Anger because of the build up onthe first minute of the song and the main riff itself.

Frantic because of the speed and the originality of the main riff.

The unnamed feeling, don't have any reason I just like that one.

Some Kind of Monster or The Unnamed Feeling.

(Though I actually like the album as a whole)
