Looks like some random black metal d00d.

Anyhow, any updates on the Chad-Chris' account situation?

Bartender 12-06-2005 03:22 PM

chad shouldn't have access to his account any more. Neither does Chris himself, for now, though.

Shadows - it happens every now and then. Dec 2003 was the last time it got this annoying though, I think.

Shadows 12-06-2005 03:25 PM

That made me laugh harder then I have in years.

100% pure home-grown cheese. Although the female is rather nice.

i am the robots 12-06-2005 03:28 PM

She's not even in the band anymore though!

They just have her stand around and be there in the video, lol.

You know you bands ace when you have to use sexy ex-members to propote new songs.

GenuineImitation 12-06-2005 03:29 PM

That video was pretty cheesy, but a funny cheesy.

That is hilarious...I like the part where he says "Die, Die, Die, Die, Die"

What did she do?

King_Of_Terrors 12-06-2005 03:32 PM

That's a pretty cool song actually...

Hehe, the song is pretty cool, though.

i am the robots 12-06-2005 03:34 PM

Oh yeah, I enjoy it too, but you know it's incredibly cheesey as soon as he starts going: die die die die!

RouteOne 12-06-2005 03:37 PM

DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE

King_Of_Terrors 12-06-2005 03:38 PM

Haha, would that band actually be considered black metal though?

Shadows 12-06-2005 03:40 PM

Not really. They have high vocals and corpse paint but the music actually seemed very far from it. Tons of bass.

On Metal Archives they're listed as Melodic Black Metal.

Thats more like At the Gates, Soilwork and Dark Tranquility though. I didnt see any resemblence.

 Melodic BLACK metal? Are you crazy?

TojesDolan 12-06-2005 03:45 PM

Pft genre.

Anyhow, I think it's safe to post now that Chad's left a little out. Especially without mod zuper powerz.

On a related note, I guess I'll make an acoustic version of some really heavy song for the R&M competition.

Bartender 12-06-2005 03:45 PM

The best band to apply "melodic black metal" to is Dissection. Sound like melodic death, feel like black metal.

GenuineImitation 12-06-2005 03:47 PM
 Melodic BLACK metal? Are you crazy?
Nevermind. I read it fast an thought it said Melodic Death Metal. I guess that why I didn't see any resemblence.

Shadows 12-06-2005 03:47 PM

Metal Archives often makes me wonder how they're so bad at classifying bands.

i am the robots 12-06-2005 03:48 PM

What about Naglfar?!

I sooo wanna do something for that contest, but I need a midi card and a new mic.

Huh? They're rarely wrong with my experience.

Ps. Melodic Black Metal exists. See: Dissection

They're usually right when I look around, but sometimes I'll see some things that are incredibly far from what the band actually is.

i am the robots 12-06-2005 03:52 PM

Once more, what about Naglfar?!
