I've been listening to the All Hallows Eve ep a lot lately. Definitely my favorite release.

All Hallows EP kicks so much a'ss.

Only old AFI I've heard is Black Sails in the Sunset, and I liked it.

I've been giving Miss Murder more of a chance, and I have to admit, I like the lyrics (to a certain extent).


But on the whole, the song is just too bland and run-of-the-mill for me. It just doesn't seem like Afi...

I hate Miss Murder.

The thing that annoys me the most is Davey singing in that low register though. That is not the voice I have come to love over the years...

Theyre my favorite band ever. Ive dedicated most of teenage years to them

its the 29th of May for the UK. And i was thinking about preordering the new cd as well, but I think i may just go down to Best Buy and get it. Unless of course you get free stuff with ordering it. i dont know. but I know that I'm ordering the Miss Murder single and i also found a Wingnut ATASF for 4 bucks. Pretty sweet

The video for Miss Murder is really really cool. It makes the song a lot more bearable for me. Anyone heard Kill Caustic yet? That song brings the mosh. One of their more hardcore-punk/post-hardcore songs. You can find a decent quality vid on youtube.

Anybody watch AFI's performance on the Weenie Roast over webcam yesterday? It was tight, but they were cut short because Dave Grohl appeared as a special guest.

I saw them last weekend they played that same set list except they closed on a new song and opened on Miseria Cantare which was pretty amazing.

i watched the weenie roast thing. it looked like Davey was mad about something, maybe the fact that they got cut short for Dave Grohl.

They're playing my Warped date and I'm hoping for lots of old stuff, but I can't say my expectations are very high.

So has this leaked yet? I'll continue asking this periodicly till I find it.

I just watched the Miss Murder video and I think it's okay. I've heard worse, but I don't like it that much. I'm into Answer That And Stay Fashionable, so it's totally different. I would have never guessed this was AFI if just heard the song and didn't know.

they wont play old stuff, at least anything pre-Black Sails. they may play File 13 or This Secret Ninja though. i wouldnt go in expecting to hear a ton, if any, older music

It's the opening song off their new album "Prelude 12/21" with Miss Murder behind it. The intro alright. It's got some nice "woah's" but I can't see it replacing Miseria Cantare at all.
