I support that towards Trivium.

I saw them when I saw CoB and Trivium was awful.

Matt's screams and clears were awful. Both he and Corey made plenty of mistakes on guitar riffs/solos.

Several people threw shoes at them. That was funny.

Personally I stuck to flipping him off everytime he looked my way and yelling random **** at him just loud enough to be heard. Inbetween songs that was.
That's kinda lame. Imagine if you were up there.

They aren't bad at all live, at least not anymore. They were spot on when I saw them.
When trivium were on tour with CoB awhile ago CoB fans threw bottles and swore at Trivium and matt heafy calling him a poser what do you guys think of this.
A lot of CoB fans are morons.

circlethedrain 04-11-2006 03:01 PM

I think that if they don't scream on the next album, then their lyrics better be great, cause when you scream and are inaudable then lyrics don't matter quite as much.

Crusades could be the next City of Evil (which was terrible).

Yeah you won't be let down. But Maiden will > Trivium that night though.

SimonCore 04-18-2006 05:13 AM

I have high hopes for this album from what i've heard recently of Matt's vocals (MOP cover). So it sohuld be a proper old school metal one;)

bombtrack 04-18-2006 05:54 AM

honestly i think there a pretty good band even though their young they have time to improve

Rattlehead 04-18-2006 06:35 AM

welcome to the forums. you are new and old at the same time. ha! i did that once.
I have high hopes for this album from what i've heard recently of Matt's vocals (MOP cover). So it sohuld be a proper old school metal one;)
yeah, more of the clean hetfieldesque vocals. i only want him to carry on screaming if he can do BOTH of the following: 1. Scream properly, not blowing out and 2. still sound good.

toolfreak 04-18-2006 06:53 AM

yeah i really liked the hetfeild kinda vocals and maybe a little screaming from time to time would be nice

lol k no worries:chug:

Rattlehead 04-18-2006 07:25 AM

it didn't even make sense.

i hope Trivvers don't kick anyone out. i doubt heafy, beaulieu or smith would go. paulo is kinda average, so i reckon he's on the edge if anyone is.

toolfreak 04-18-2006 07:41 AM

i highly doubt they will kick anyone out dude

Rattlehead 04-18-2006 07:42 AM

why? other bands do. but then they are still young, so you're probably right. for now.

toolfreak 04-18-2006 07:50 AM

yeah and paolo does his part and does it well and they already had a few members quite and stuff

mr black 04-18-2006 10:03 AM

To me he sounded like a whinier version of Hetfeild back in the day :p.

But yeah, you're right.

Rattlehead 04-18-2006 04:43 PM

yeah, his vocals in Battery are brilliant. hope he does more like that in the new album.
