hyptonize is gonna rock with tracks like holy mountain and kill rock and roll
|
I know three people who have heard Hypnotize, at the Kerrang listening session, and they all said that it was WAY better than Mezmerize.
|
I like what they're doing with "Solier Side", even though the song name sucks big time.

I sure hope it is cause Mezmerize was pretty dissapointing |
Well, the more albums they release, the more money they make, and we all know that's the only thing they think of.
You are an idiot. |

True...:thumb: |
It was on Thurday 8pm in England.
SOAD would best alternative band and didnt seem to pleased, They played BYOB. I made a mistake and thought there where performing 2 songs. :thumb:
I thought that there performance was quite poor really. |
I think it rocked! Daron was crazy, I loved the "SUCK MY D!ICK!" part!
And when the song usually ends, it just took off.. That was rad, man. |
You are an idiot.
Amen. I hate it when people say that about bands that release double-albums. |
B.Y.O.B was a crap song in my opinion, my least favourite off Mesmerize. Mesmerize itself is probably the worst System album so far but from what I have heard of Hypnotize, their new release has the potential to be a brilliant album.
how do you think it would compare to their first cd. Their first cd was genious. |
I loved the first one, it was just so raw and heavy, but at the same time very clever with its melodies and lyrics.
Mezmerize was great, I can't believe Cigaro has only been mentioned once, come ON people, tsk tsk... Can't wait for Hypnotize. It probably will be another Mezmerize, but I've loved all the cd's, and I doubt this coming one will dissapoint me. I read about Serj saying that "Vicinity of Obscenity" is the craziest song he's ever written. Considering tracks like "F*ck the System", it's going to very interesting too hear it all... |
Any of you dudes seen the Hypnotize video?
Daron's hair is pretty sweet. :thumb: |
it's called Hypnotize and it's the second part of their two part album, the first part was mezmerize
|
Amen.
I hate it when people say that about bands that release double-albums.
ZOMG EVERYBODY HOO GETZ POPPULLER IZ A SELLOUT!!!!!1 |
People hate Mezmerize because they like to whine about how much SOAD's lyrics suck now.I actually don't give a **** about lyrics in a band like SOAD, as long as they're catchy they are fine by me.
And all you whiners go read some books.
Actually their lyrics are pretty good, they just find one line in some song like Why do they always send the poor, and then judge all soad's lyrics from that line/song. Seriously, mezmerize has great lyrics. Sad Statue, Revenga, question, etc.. Oh well, we'll see what comes out of hypnotize. I think soad's best work was in toxicity. Chop suey, needles, deer dance, toxicity, aerials, etc.. All great songs. |
I thought that Mezmerize was their best album since the self-titled. Question was my favorite song off of it and I was pleasantly surprised it became a single. Hopefully Hypnotize will be good as well.
People don't seem to realize that SOAD is a very progressive band. The problem is that their biggest fans are also the most retarded, and they don't understand that progressive bands tend to... well, PROGRESS from album to album. If something isn't exactly the same after each record they cry foul and say the band has "sold out" or lost its edge. The "sellout" line is the most laughable, since every album has had a single and music video from it, and SOAD never loses its edge because they've always got something to rant about, as well as the obligatory silly song. So stop whining and just chalk it up to personal preference. The album doesn't have to be great to you, but you can't just invent reasons for it other than your opinion. |
Well what do you expect when they were both written and recorded at the same time.
"The fragile" by NIN was written and recorded at the same time, yet one disc is much, much better than the other one. It's all relative, my friend. :) |
Daron's hair is pretty sweet. :thumb:
You cant be serious!? :amaze: |
what wrong with daaron . He was acting like an idiot on Television , cant he relax a lil
|
Probably on the dope again
|
dope?
i think he needs dope to get himself relaxed |
Daron's hair sure does look stupid on the new video. I'm not very impressed by the song, one of their weaker efforts, lets hope the album is good.
|
yer, he really should relax.com eon!
|
They were all walking in circles up there at the end. They looked a little confused to me.
I'm not really feeling that song. :-/
|
yeah, me neither... what happened to their music? *crosses fingers* their album better b good
|
I thought it was pretty good. Still I know they're capable of better.
|
^My thoughts too on that song. I thought it was aiight.
|
Hypnotize the song is pretty good. I still think Question! is one of their best songs ever and is easily the highlight of Mezmerize.
|
123, Question! is awesome. Coincidentally, a week before I hear the album for the first time, I rediscovered a now-defunct local band called Tananas which plays this blend of Brazilian, Spanish, West African and jazz music. They sound like Question! minus the distortion, and with Portuguese vocals.
So obviously, I, liek, t0t@lly fl1pped 0ut when I heard the song. |
