So are there anymore?
Okay, first things first, when you say you have all four albums, we understand that you have all of their main songs so don't ever waste that much space again, second of all, you said Summer twice, third of all the following songs have NOTHING to do with Sum 41:

Kick Me When I'm High (SR-71)
Leavin' On A Jet Plane (a live song from NOFX, originally by John Denver)

and to answer your question yes, you missed some:

Walk This Way (ft. Ja Rule, Nelly, and DJ Clue)
Enter Sandman (part of the Metallica Medly involving For Whom the Bell Tolls)
Rock You (I believe originally by Helix, they have a version)
That's Alright Mama (Elvis cover)
Rock Medly (ft. Rob Halford and Tommy Lee)
Lust for Life (live with Iggy Pop)
and they did some solo from a song I've never heard before, I can't help you with the name of it

sum41fan 11-13-2005 02:20 PM

Woah there are some that I did miss! Well I was wondering where I can find those then. I haven't seen them in cds. Wasn't there a song they made called "Bad Brains"?

I have no ideo, they also made a song in 1998 called Astronaut, I have the tape that has it on it, it's really rare, but I can't get the whole song on my comp or give it to anyone, and anything you find on the internet over it is just part of the song

Well what tape did you get it from? Also if you don't know where I can get the songs, how do you know them? I tried bearshare, but nothing came up. Got any suggestions?

sum41fan 11-14-2005 06:09 PM

how long is Astronaught? I some how got a holf od it, but it's only like 45 seconds. what tape is it from?

the tape is called Punk No Die, and it's really rare, I got it from eBay really luckily. I don't know where you can get them, but I've been lucky enough to find them along the way
how long is Astronaught? I some how got a holf od it, but it's only like 45 seconds. what tape is it from?
yeah, it's like, a little over 2 minutes or something like that, not too long and not too good, but still worth it

EDIT: guys, I'm grounded, so I won't be on for awhile unless I get on at school, so I'll leave you with one last news update, the live cd/dvd called Happy Live Surprise has been post poned from coming out today untill December 21st maybe later, sorry

EDIT: whichever songs you want dude I'll post them, so just ask

TheBassicBassist 11-21-2005 07:48 PM

Okay, I'm posting twice because editing posts (while being a stupid idea in the first place) doesn't bump up threads to let someone know that something in the thread has been changed

if you want any of those songs you can't find anywhere then I'll give them to you (sum41fan)

sum41fan 11-26-2005 05:34 PM

thanks a bunch!

Im amazed there are still die hard Sum 41 fans, I used to be obsessed with them, I learned all of the albums (and then some) on drums, but then I realized, that Dave is really the only one with any amount of "star worthy" talent, and then It kicked in that, they are main stream, why would I bother listning to music that sounds like every other song on the radio, Im not gonna lie to you guys, you ahve to start listning to real music, stuff that takes talent to paly, and actually means somthing. Yeh, its pathetic that I came here just to post this, but It had to be siad, Sum 41 is a main stream band (not bad, just main stream) and its pathetic to see people who ahve there lives revolve around them.

DJ Ducksauce 12-05-2005 06:59 PM

Did you do the ban/change avatar thingy again Spence?

EDIT: I saw it in the Tell the Mods thread. Nice.

himynameistweek 12-10-2005 04:53 PM

gaaaah people are so ****ing retarded.
you think that just because a band has fans it means they're bad?

ITD is pretty frieking cool dude, I recommend it, also, Happy Live Surprise should be coming out soon

Castor Riff 12-10-2005 06:48 PM
Really? Sum 41 are well known for copying other peoples songs
Right. So because there is so many musicians coming up with so many different melodies that every single song in the entire world will sound completely and entirely different. That's so totally true. I mean, never in a ka-zillion years will we ever have a song that sounds almost, but not quite, similar to the other. Hey, I'm sure Bitter End was six or seven minutes long, with even really long riffs. Someone should screw the tuning because we don't want two A's sounding the same, oh the shame!

Oh yeah, and the ABCs ripped off Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? Holy cow!
What We're All About
Moron
WWVII part 1 and 2
Reign In Pain (Heavy Metal Jamboree)
Noots
Another Thing Comin'
Subject To Change
Bleed
How You Remind Me
No Sleep 'Til Brooklyn
Walk This Way
And they did some Metallica Tribute Videos
Bleed isn't actually a song, it's just what some people call I'm Not The One.

There is also the song - Kick Me When I'm High, off the Dude Where's My Car soundtrack

Kick Me When I'm High is an SR71 song, any Sum 41 fan can tell that that song isn't by them

Bad Blood 12-13-2005 04:33 PM

I think we should get a name change for this thread...

There could be some good ones...

"We're all to blame in the Sum 41 thread"

"Welcome to the Sum 41 thread"

"There's no solution for the Sum 41 thread"

"Still waiting for a Sum 41 thread"

There's loads.

Mute Print 12-13-2005 04:35 PM

I just realized I've never posted in here. I've been listening to Sum-41 for a few years now, and I like them quite a bit. They're awesome live to.

chumpradio 12-13-2005 04:37 PM

I never realised how great Chuck was.
No Reason and We're All To Blame are possibly two of the band's best songs, in my opinion.

Mute Print 12-13-2005 04:43 PM

I loved Chuck. I like all of their albums actually.

Untitled 12-13-2005 04:47 PM

I still dont like Chuck, it realy has put me off them, maybe i could listen agian and see. I still enjoy the first 3 albums a lot.

Pazz 12-13-2005 04:54 PM

I really like Chuck. I'm listening to it right now.

Finally, we can get some more "well-known" pop-punkers in here talking, because it's usually dead in here and a bunch of noobs.

DJ Ducksauce 12-13-2005 05:15 PM

I've posted a few times in here. /nub

I don't like Chuck as much as the others. The first 3 were the shiz. Chuck had a few good songs, but most of them were meh. 88 and Pieces were my favorites.

I got that vid of them playing No Reason. It was pretty good.

I've grown out of Sum 41. I was really into them 2 years ago though. Hell Song and Makes No Difference got me into them.
