Next to Hellshock, yes.

Let's do this: everyone list their ten current favorite bands so that we can try to spread some good bands we like to each other. Just in case we don't all listen to the exact same bands.

1. Charles Bronson
2. Requiem (The only mp3 you'll ever find online is here)
3. Avskum
4. Ballast
5. Code 13
6. Tragedy
7. Witch Hunt
8. Skitsystem
9. Dystopia
10. Phobia
11. Nasum (gets an honorable mention)
1. Pig Destroyer
2. Cattle Decapitation
3. Agoraphobic Nosebleed
4. The Great Redneck Hope
5. Spazz
6. In/Humanity
7. combatwoundedveteran
8. The Holy Mountain
9. Fuck... I'm Dead
10. Hassan I Sabbah

What are about five essential crust bands everyone should listen to?

Keep in mind I mean punkier* crust, not grind.

the rest of the list:

Masskontroll
Hiatus
Behind Enemy Lines (if ye dig the more metal sound)/Caustic Christ (if ye dig 80's hc)
Doom
All is Suffering

That seems about right, well for me at least.

Gnarmageddon 12-13-2005 05:59 PM

Oh, wait. I know Masskontroll and Hiatus. :D

Crumbsuckers and Voetsek too. I think they're crust.

Feel The Darkness 12-13-2005 06:23 PM

BORN/DEAD is soooooooo good live. And since they're (nearby) local, I get to see them and play with them more than the average man.

Essential crust bands...

1. Antischism
2. BORN/DEAD
3. Nausea
4. Aus Rotten
5. Toxic Narcotic

and I added a...

6. Misery

Gnarmageddon 12-16-2005 04:17 PM

I'm not sure why I like them so much.

Subvert_bassist 12-16-2005 06:58 PM

I really like the song "Domestic Prison". After that, for me, it's just eh.

NewKindofArmy03 12-16-2005 09:39 PM

My friend got me into them a couple of weeks ago, they're really good.

http://www.resistantculture.com/latevideo.html I don't know if this is new or not, but I haven't seen it before. Such a good song.
