Yeah, I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about Symphony X being lame, whereas Dream Theater has that all the time.

Australians: Has anyone heard from Riva / what's the status of Northern Australia, where that cyclone was? Was to ring in autumn for you guys, heh.

And apparently it's not kosher to post Last.fm here anymore, so that's out the window.

I had two exams and a paper due today. I'm pretty sure I got boned by the first exam (which, between the two exams, I couldn't afford to get boned by by my standards of marks in school) but did alright on the second (I think) and did okay on the paper (hopefully).

But man, the sun's been out all weekend and all day, so it's awesome to just go outside and play catch or just be outside in general. After such a crappy winter, I'm glad the sun's out.

Of course, that means the sun's out when I'm stuck in class :(

I know I'm not Australian, but I think the cyclone pretty much crashed straight into Cairns. I'm pretty sure no one will have heard from Riva, but he expected that anyway; the storm could have passed several dozen miles to the north or south of him and he'd lose power and stuff for a few days.

Given the server problems, I'm bored!

Apparently no one died in the cyclone, it hit the coast Innisfail, which is a bit south of Cairns. They (media) say power could be out for up to a week.
